Me too I wonder if there is a difference in processing time depending if you re a  PR or Citizen ??

Dear sarah and Nagz,

there is no difference between PR and citizens the only difference is that a peson who is Pr has to prove that they reside in Canada while a citizen out side of canada still can sponsor their family memeber. also i think a Pr cannot leave canada during the sponsorship process but a citizen can. in terms of the processing time there is no difference between the two.

 @ sarah you should try case specific questions and try to contact an MP dont worry i think you are the end! stay calm and positive!!

just submitting a inquiry asking your spouse status by noting that it has passed the standard time. the case specific is for those who has passed  9-10 months i think they should reply within 2 weeks

i had a question about sending the RQ from iran, i know many of you sent in the RQ from tehran so i was wondering when you/your spouse went to mail it what address did you use? the same one they give in the email? Embassy of canada Visa Section P.O box 3394? thanks guys

 I sent the signed RQ it to my husband in Canada by DHL he scanned and emailed it to the embassy last 3 weeks. when they relied to our email they didnt mentioned that you sould post it or some thing.

oh ok, i didnt know since everyone mailed theirs, i mean they include the address, but what i can do is get my wife to scan it and email it , from iran, faster than mail for sure , did anyone use regular mail from iran?

dear sarah there is not any difference btw PR and citizenship..u know my husband has been citizen since 19 yrs ago..and u see ..i am w8ing for 8 months,,
