My husband's status in Canada: PR
Btw, has anybody here applied for visitor visa after filing for PR? Any success?

Welcome atise! Thanks for sharing your time line with us  I remember 3-4 cases who applied for student visa as well, and just one of them got the visa! |

helloooo everyone
I 've been on vacation for 3 weeks so I couldn't check the forum. in less than a week it's going to be 6 months that my wife's file is in process. wooow , It went by quicker than anticipated .
A+M I'm really happy 4 u guys and ma Allah always keep your bond , I could just imagine the emotions as my daughter even misses me even if I'm away for a few days . let alone such a long time as your hubby's case. Wish u the best

I have 30 days to take my pass to Ankara VO, it mentioned in e-mail that " if visa is issued,it will expire on 24june 2013 " the exact day of medical being done in 2011.!
so you all see everything guys said in this forum is not exactly true, thanks to all whom share their experiences , but sometimes it's stressful and nothing !
so be hopeful and be sure visa officers are not going to bother you, they just do their works properly.
I pray for you all to get your visa sooner, INSHALLAH.
Therefore from what u say about the medical , one could only assume that they extended your medical for another year. That is good news for me that there is hope we do not need a second medical as ours is expired in July . ya Allah |

mehdi jan we are in the same boat...to b honest i think if they did want a redo of the medical they wouldve asked by now...ours expired end of july..and we have been in process for exactly a month today...and from the post u quoted..his had expired too...and yet he was issued the visa...ive ordered gcsm notes...if it says anything in particular there about meds i shall let u know... Therefore from what u say about the medical , one could only assume that they extended your medical for another year.
That is good news for me that there is hope we do not need a second medical as ours is expired in July .

I agree with you as well, the 15 months could have been calculated using the damascus to Ankara applicants timelines as well . personally my gut feeling is that I hear a news soon from Ankara, Also I was left between two ways of doing medical or not , I chose not to do it and let them ask for it. let's C what happens and pray for the best, our faith . peace |

worst case scenario mehdi if they do ask for a redo of the medical it will maybe be a month or so...but in your case if they havent asked for it yet...the chances are you dont need to do it:)...
