Hi, My wife got an email asking to fill resident questioner plus asking for a updated police certification from Iran issued in the last 3 months which I just got 1 month ago. My wife's medical expires end of Aug 2012, I have sent all the documents back already. But does this mean its in the final step?  ?? Seems Ankara is willing to surprise each applicant in a new way! Asking for RQ and Police Certificate together... Biladxb, I believe your wife d better renew her medical test as well. They might have forgotten to mention and ask you to renew it in a while. Did you renew police certificate without asking? Did you send it? Do not worry at all. It shows your file is the very final step, so do what they want and even more and send them all VERY SOON. Fingers crossed for you  |

"  whats Ankara really doing? that's good, at least u know they're gonna finalize ur file soon. but its strange that they did this to so many people so far and not result yet. lets c whats gonna happen in July. |

It means the applicant did not leave Canada when they were supposed to. My husband overstayed and now needs special permission to come back:( just found out the fingerprint check they asked for takes 6-8 months to do. We will not be getting PPR any time soon. where does it take that long? in iran or Canada?!!...send your MP an email and explain the situation for him its not fair now that you have waited for this long to wait for another 6-8 month....send ankara an email back and tell them about your situation, and inshalla it wont take 6-8 month, it has to be less than that...there gotta be someways around it, dont give up on it and continue on sending them emails, make them wana get rid of you..become their living nightmare with your emails, its only fair!... Hey Kazhal jan, My husband has to send me his finger prints done by a police station in Iran. I have to send those to Ottawa to the RCMP fingerprint division. It takes the RCMP 6-8 months to complete that check and send it back to me. I then have to submit that to Ankara. The website for the Ottawa RCMP fingerprinting says the check takes 4 weeks, but I just talked to a member of the RCMP who said that those times are not accurate and it will be close to 6 months. I don't understand why they would wait this long to ask me for this!!!! Our MP has sent a letter back to Ankara to ask them if a simple criminal record check would suffice.... Which can be done at any RCMP office and takes a couple days. So our kids will go without their father for a long time... It's already been 19 months.... Now add this. It's an APPALLING system.... |
