My Mp called me to say, my file is in back ground check now. any idea , how long will it take ?
Also she informed about my medical which has expired, and informed that visa office will call you if they require any update.
However I already has updated my medical without any request.

Guys they finally updated the new processing time today. so now Ankara VO new processing time is 6 months. it was 5 months before, and now 6 moths. i think that means all the spousal application they receive, this new processing time would count for it.  

I agree with you it's good news. Processing times for India and China has increased.

Our efforts and protests are paying off.

I have good reasons to believe, they processing times in Ankara will stay around 6 months. As the first step is taking around 3 months. The average time end to end must be around 9 months.

I also suspect Ankara office will try to get rid of the old cases as soon as possible so the next update will be normalized.


Not to mention, since 2012, they have decreased  processing investment, parents sponsorship and skilled worker visas dramatically.

It's going to be lots of good news for spouse sponsorship, but I hope we can get rid of this government so things will improve for other categories as well.

so everyone, go and pack up, when we got PPR we came to know how behind we are! so much to do!!

good news for me ?? I become accustomed on empty email,gloomy days,the happy moments has been Stolen from me by Canada immigration system,nothing bring back the passed days and months,our body cells and youth spirit killed and die every day,we are Ephemeral creatures, non eternal .

Congratulation bahpar. According to the status of the previous applicants, it does not follow special rule. for some only 2 days after in process PPR received and for some others it has lasted more than one month. However, the PPR notice is sent on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. When is the starting date of your process?

thanks abdullahj,i actually wanted to know the max. time of processing..i got my file number in oct 18 but my file had archived in canada until march 29..it's 2days that they have changed my status(exactely after 8 months)...i hope all of us give ppr so soon...
