I wish they would say which application dates they're currently working on.
For example, they should say something like: We're working on applications submitted in May.

i have done the same thing and nothing has happened dont worry you are not alone but i hope u get ppr in no time love.....and samira congratz of the ecas status change and medical recieved.....btw parastoo does you ecas say medical received yet?

Parastoo jan, it is said in CIC website that Ankara does not respond to inquiries regarding cases within their regular time line. Yours has passed the 14 months, so they have to provide you with info abt your file. Have you ordered your CAIPS or have you tried calling them? The situation for you, Kazhal, lele, amirnezam and vivi (+ others that are not in my mind right now-sorry-) is not acceptable any more! 

They lead Us to believe it is a fair process and they value family... They don't expect that 100+ people have gathered on a forum sharing info and dates, exposing their crooked, unfair system. It isn't except able but what can we do? Our pleas fall on deaf ears.
This process has to end at some point for all of us... Some are just more lucky than others.

 i totally agree A+M , and im definitely disappointed in this country..i used to admire Canada for its human rights rules and thought it was one of the best countries that values the importance of family reunification and all tht...but i was/am totally wrong and i am definitely disappointed in this system...but here is something that we can do that might bring some light to our cases and some awareness... maybe we can all start emailing the liberal/ndp representatives withing our cities and letting them know about this stupid process, i know they might not do anything for us but they might bring it up in parliament and use it to their advantage after all its all politics and these people only keep their own interest in mind.. i am sick and tired of this stupid conservative representative of my city that doesnt give a sh* about my file... every time i contact him all he tells me is to have patient and the situation in M.E is not good right now, as if i dont already know this,,,,,so maybe emailing liberal and NDP reps might bring some lights to our cases and people after us inshalla wont have to suffer as much as we have and do...... just a thought

Could you please share some personal information so we can do a comparison? I think the processing time differs from a case to another which makes sense. It's not something new. Last year some completed in 5 months and some 15 months.

If you don't mind some information like below can give us some idea:

- how old are you? how old is your husband?
- what do you do? what does he do?
- which province are you? which province is he?
- what supporting documents did you send? like photos, etc.
- did you do any follow-up?

things like that. By the way some rough idea is ok. for example if you are 25, you can say 26. we totally respect your privacy.

I can't beleive One day comes and I get to be the one to type this message. Always dreamed of this moment, that I come here and say guys we got PPR.
Wow. I did it. Guys we got ppr yesterday. A lady from ankara called and told my husband everything is done and he can come to ankara and get his passport stamped.  
I still can't beleive and i think I am dreaming. First time I see ankara is calling , i was expecting an email.
She told my husband only on one condition they will issue the visa, if he lands beforE his medical expires , but if he can't have to do the medical and then she does not know how long it will take

Congrats, rah. It's good for you and also useful info for the rest of us who are still waiting even longer to show that this system is arbitrary!

A+M, you are waiting for Ankara, and they are the good ones. They can't justify taking any longer than the rest of this month for your file, and if they do, I'll also be upset enough to say something that will make Sohrab try to calm me down again, saying to be patient for his fellow CIC workers.
