I wish there was such a law  :'(but so many people have said this to me If there is such a law, my lawyer and MP's asst. have never heard of it. The Minister said most cases are processed in under 12 months, but that's not currently the case for most embassies as anyone can see from looking at the latest published numbers from January.

Hab, great news!!! Your wife will be getting visa very soon! Great thing you went to the embassy! I'm going to Lebanon on Thursday and i'm at 14 months, and i'm contemplating wheter or not I should go in!! Arezou!! Welcome Home!!! Yes the weather is very bad here in Toronto the past few days, but now that you're here i'm sure it will become sunny again!! Glad to hear you had a great flight! Hadaya, that sounds great! Hi Rah, I am in the same timeline as you; file approved on Oct 18, but was transferred in March. So do you have any news? have you contacted CIC recently? I think they started keeping files in Canada from Sep 2011, but the number of applicants for Aug and September seems low (I wonder why, last year's end of summer Ramezoon?), so There is a chance that we actually get it before Sep! |

Hi Everyone
First I would like to thank you all for your congratulations and kind messages.
My husband went today to the embassy in Beruit this morning. He said there were about 10 other people who were called to come in on Monday with their passport just as well. They took all their passports and phone numbers and told them that they will call them this Wed. or Thur. to pick them up with the Visa. My husband told them that he booked his flight (hoping they would give him it today), they told him the officer is only there on Wed. and Thur. to sign the Visa's.
I just wanted to share that with you all. I know any information we can all get the better.
