hopefully we get our PPR in less than a year  considering 12000 files sent from Iran.

SOHRAB jan , lets say for instance an officer is looking into our file, with the transfers of all those tourist and student visas from Iran, would they delay our process , and start looking into the transferred files? Or they go to different department ?
 

no no mehdi joon, after the closure of the embassy which was april 30 they created a department which SORTS files, from dates to immigration class, an Immigration officer picks up a file he/she will not put it down until a decision is made, thats immigration policy, thats why mr gilles boroussa called me at 7.30 in the morning to confirm information, he cant put my file aside just because there is another file, no no, he either issues it or denies it, and he told me on the phone, I WILL ISSUE THE VISA, so dont worry about the 12,000 files, ankara is MORE THAN CAPABLE , they have 250 staff, damascus had 75

merci, apparently from what Sohrab said from his previous  thread is that they are most likely going hire more officers in Ankara and work out a system were you can't physical go an drop off your passport anymore.They are going to work with Iran in have ppl courier their passports over which i don't  think Iranian gov't will allow.I think that is what he said couple of days ago.

yeah exactly omid, the government of iran is not allowing it yet, but people are starting to do it as a private business like the man my wife and omid's wife met, he owns a travel agency in tehran, and he is travelling to turkey personally for 150 $ per trip, so until canada comes up with a solution these private business' will grow
