Hi guys,
My wife just called she handed over her passport she was told they would connect her by 1130am Ankara time to pick up her passport.Shorab she met your wife too, they are staying at the same hotel in Ankara.She also told me that their is a person who has a company in Iran that represents a bunch of ppl who can not afford the trip to Ankara by taking their passports to Ankara and getting their visas,Stay tune for more info.

As I have said before, YES people with PPR have to pay it. A person with a single entry permanent resident visa in their passport is NOT a permanent resident yet, they become a PR when they land in an airport in Canada and they sign the COPR in front of an officer. And as long as someone is not a permanent resident of a country they HAVE to pay the exit fee --> People coming to Canada for the first time to land, HAVE to pay this fee. After this first time and for the next travels to Canada because they are a PR they are exempt of paying the fee. Or if you guys still don't trust what I say, you can figure it out at the midnight of your flight in Imam Khomeini Airport with those khoshakhlagh bank karmands yourselves!  I've been so busy lately barely having a breakfast at home. I havnt had the time to read all the posts. Sankooloo for explaining |

something very interesting guys, this morning, at 7 30 am, someone called me, i picked up it was the canadian embassy in ankara, they told me your wife dropped her passport off we want to confirm some things with you, they pretty much asked me like 5 questions and said ok everything seems fine, we will issue a visa to your wife and she can pick it up tomorrow,
to be honest i was confused a bit because i hadnt heard that any sponsor got a call directly from the embassy, i mean i know it wasnt a big deal or anything, but it was weird,
he asked you are in ontario? we ask to see if we have to issue special papers, then he asked if i have the same number, i was like yes you just called it lol, he asked about employment and if i wanted to withdraw the application, what a dumb question, i waited this long to withdraw it? then he asked about bank statement, i was like what?! he then quickly changed his words, never mind its not a big deal,
here is the funny part at the very beginning he was like ARE YOU AWARE YOUR WIFE DROPPED HER PASSPORT OFF, i guess there is so much fraud these days that they need to let sponsors know

so weird, I think its the first time...it must be because of u,re situation. my parents are going to turkey next week and I'm starting to panic, i dont think there is any reason to be scared but I just am...I think I,m the only one left that hasnt submitted her passport... |
