IELTS and showing English proficiency is NOT a requirement for family class immigration. Plus, if it ever was a requirement for immigration, they would have asked for it before issuing her PPR! |

hello my dearrrrr friends wow what a weird week, it was only a 4 day week but nothing from ankara?.......... hmm interesting, anyways i hope everyone is well, sia joon congrats, gladly its over see u in toronto haha my brother lives there so eventually i have to come down, ill make sure to make an effort to see you , arghavan is going sunday, shes too excited im afraid shes going to lose her mind including her passport lol , maybe its because we made a deal she cant tell anyone about leaving until she gets her passport stamped  anyways im working on her being here mid june therefore i have to pick up extra shifts so i can get time off when she arrives otherwise its gonna suck, i wont see her for 9 hours a day , but im working on it, ishalah good news will come soon for everyone, azizane man mesle samira vivi parastoo va va va va , |

guys i wanted to share this with you, well the ankara applicants i should say,
today at work we had a meeting about the overload of files because of the closure of tehran embassy,
all i can say is that me and everyone else who got ppr within the first 2 weeks of may got lucky because the embassy had JUST closed so the files hadnt arrived yet, but now they have, 12,000 files arrived from tehran, its all tourist/worker so it has nothing to do with sponsorship but just the arrival of so many files overwhelmed the embassy that they are asking the foreign affairs department for more temporary workers and they are considering opening up the courier line again, according to the memo we read, people PERSONALLY picking up their passports delays everything because the staff have to CONCENTRATE on that one person's file for 24 hours ...... issue the visa and then get back to regular work, and now we have an average of 100 to 150 visas a week being issued so multiply that by 24 hours, thats too much time wasted on 1 person, so they want to open the courier line and cancel the IN PERSON option because they are falling behind, damascus did that before the whole craziness, from what i heard if it happens from mid june there will be no more in person pick ups, honestly i wish i was able to send my wife's passport by courier, anyways lets see what happens

tnx, by the way I booked my ticket to canada for the 17th of june,actually I originally planned on going on the 18th but the airline I wanted doesnt have a flight on that day...
have fun packing!!
Thanks, I didn't wait at all! I arrived at 8.30 sharp and told the security that I'm here to submit my passport and I went in without any delay I got a Lufthansa ticket on 18th...will be landed a few hours after u! |
