My wife had sent an email to damascus notifying that her medical will expire this month but they replied saying that if we require something we will inform you and the file was still in queue. My question is if they give ppr after her medical expires, would they extend expiry or would they ask her to re-do medical.  ANd what if they give ppr one week before expiry date?

The answer to your question when they explained it to me is this: It is up to the Officer to determine if you need to redo or not the medicals. Normally you need to be in Canada before the expiration , but they can extend the expired date it if they wish. When they give you the Visa, They state on the letter that your medical will expire and that the Visa is good till this date. But that depend of the officer

My lawyer told me if there is no problem with your file they should give you the visa before the expiry date, and that's what happened for me, when i went to the embassy in lebanon, they told me if i don't get it before 5 may i should redo my medical exam. So i hope that you won't have any problem with your file and your wife will get her visa very soon

yes saman2002...u can go to the site and send them specific case inquiry....if ur file processing have taken more than 10 months...
