aweeee thunx guys...you are all so thoughtful...i have been crying all day, because no matter who i turn to for answers no one seems to know anything about my file...i think im gana buy my ticket and go home next week...i cant do this anymore.......but i hope that everyone else gets theirs asap...

I have been thinking about you so much Kurdistan-kazhal!! I wish this process was more predictable and respectful! U should be able to get answers on your own file!!!! Can u go for a few weeks visit? It might've good to see your husband for a few weeks. Have u been able to see him at all? We've just passed 18 months without seeing each other. This is a very hard process. I pray you get some good news very soon!!!

 noo i have not seen him since august 2010.. i am dying inside and out...its been so hard, i called the embassy today and nothing, called my lawyer and he has not heard anything back..i called my mp and he had not heard anything back either..youd think these people would be responsible and take peoples live into consideration but no..all these people can offer you is ma'am please be patient they will contact you...you would expect something better from canada but no, so disappointed, i used to admire this country and its people but naa i was wrong...btw thunx love for thinking about me i think about all the miseries and hardships we all face because of these nonsense process and this neglect from our own government..but what can we do?...there is literally nothing to do aside from waiting and hoping and dreaming...i am personally done with the hoping part...but i hope everyone else gets their pprs soon inshalllllaaaa...

Arezou jan, does she have to wait in turkey till they give her a visa because she can't leave without her passport?

She stay there only two night. She can fly on Sunday or Tuesday and be there on Monday and or wedensday and the next day she will receive her visa back. From Tehran maybe she catch the flight for Wedensday and take a taxi till embassy in the same day and give her passport and get it back on Thursday.

omid jan, her passport will be ready in 24 hours! she can go on monday or wednesday between 8-10 hand in the passport and pick it up the next day tuesday or thursday, then she can fly back, simple as that, and they will let her in as long as she has the printed letter of PASSPORT REQUEST

and of course I will have to give them the authorization letter to...

passport, the two photos, a copy of the email "PASSPORT REQUEST" , and the authorization form signed, thats all they need

congrats siavash jan, very happy to hear you got your ppr.My question to those who have gotten their ppr,my wife just called to book her ticket to Ankara but the travel agent said you need to have an appointment at the embassy or else they won't allow you in.Not that the Ticket agent knows much but I just want to make sure maybe she has had customers that have had to have appointments?

omid i was there 3-4 days ago. you don't need any appointment . you wake up and show up there around 8-8:30 am and wait in the line. when you go there you get a number and wait for your turn and when is your turn they take the passport and tell you to come tomorrow at 2 pm. you don't need any appointment
