I woke up this morning and check my email and their it was "submisson of passport" i am overjoyed.

Thanks everyone...my file was submitted to Syria May 12 2011.It says in the email that Applicants who live outside of Iran may submit their passports directly to our office at the address below using a commercial courier service.  (Since Iran does not allow the couriering of passports into or out of Iran, residents of Iran must submit their passports in-person using the instructions in the next section so my wife is going to Ankara to submit her passport, but how can she leave Ankara with out her passport because it says it takes 4-6 weeks to get her visa from the date she submits her passport.Does anyone know anything about this matter whose experience this as well because she can't sit in Ankara for a month or more to get her passport back?

lol my friend, she can submit her passport monday or wednesday between 830 and 10 am , the next day she gets it at 11.35 am , simple as that

4-6 weeks is for COURIER, my wife is going next tuesday and she will be back in tehran on thursday night

everyday when I wake up before saying good morning for my family I check my email and ecase but nothing hehehehe

after 4 days my file will finish 19 month since  arrived damascus
and more than 16 month in process

I hope tomorrow morning ............ all of us got that call phone or at least that email

Dearest Lele, I know it s been a very long wait for you and no one blames you for impatience, as a friend, i have an advice that stop counting the days and checking mail nervously. When u chase sth, it escapes u, if u start fighting it becomes stronger, just let it go and it comes to you!

I m so happy that I have good friends like you,
but   how many years  we can live and be alive and be young? who knows?
now we  have to miss  more than one year of it with this bad situation?
thinking of these things bother me,

I agree with you Dear samira12 in each word you say ,but we choose this road and we must tolerate and sacrifice , sometime I regret I let my husband sponsor me and let him travel to Canada, but me and my husband took this decision together,the days and moments passed while we are separated causing pain and sickness and just thinking of this loss of these precious days of our life are wasted only for silly stamp on my passport to let me be with my husband just thinking of this killing me, my advice to you Dear samira12 is stop thinking in what you loss because your pain of separation from your husband is sufficient to make you feel sick and pain and instead of think in your loss try to think what will you do when you get visa and meet your husband,Dream in happy moments and nice places you will visit with your spouse very soon      the  problems start large and decrease its size with days until you forget it but the happiness and love  start small and become large with days and become unforgettable  so start you happiness with small dream and it will get real and large with days

My ecas is also "application received"... Actually I do not check my ecas everyday, i believe once a week might be enough. In comparison with other members, I am just a beginner

I bet this Visa office closure has political reasons... They pay these folks in Rial and charge people for all sorts of things in Dollars. They make more money of Iranian applicants than losing anything. Kenny, just like any other politician is so ignorant and hypocrite. :-)

We are not sure why it took so long especially that the CAIPS notes were clear (everything is ok and interview was not required)
But believe it or not we got the PPR today just after I posted about the finalization e-mail.
Al 7amdo le allah dayman w abadan. And inshalla the delay was for the best "w 3asa an takraho shay2an w howa khayron lakom"
Good luck for all ecpecially people who have been waiting the longest among us.

hi Alchemist2929 may I ask?  are the sponsor? are you Canadian citizen? do you have kids ? do you live with your spouse or you are in Canada now? its so hard to stay away from your family all this time ,why your processing time took 18 months ? its weird ,for the husband sponsor may take longer time,but if you sponsor your wife,why they take all this time? did you went to Amman VO and asked them why this delay?
