I think this week we won't have any PPR.

Why?! We still have tomorrow and half a day on Friday left

I was from 7:30 in the morning in front of embassy.
But it was meaningless. So do not do that!
They open the door in 8:05 - 8:10.
They have two entrance. I went to immigration part in the main road.
The security guard asked about my inquiry and i explained her that i want to submit my passport for issuing the visa. They opened the door and they did the security check and i went into the waiting room. I took the number for waiting and as you guess i was the first one. Then came 6 other Iranian applicants ans also Turkish applicants.
There was a lady under family sponsorship from Shiraz, she said that she was waiting since 16 months and 3 days before she has received the PPR!
Finally i gave my Passport and if every thing is ok i am going to pick my passport tomorrow up!

Most of the workers in visa section as i saw beside the window were women. Old and Young ones!

Guys, we have been waiting endlessly, some have been waiting for a ridiculous amount of time, I know some of us have gone to the embassy with no concrete results. We have posted previous messages asking people if they are interested in joining force and going to the embassy all together in a very civilized and organized way to at least understand where we stand.

I think we should start by sharing our experiences if we have actually been to the embassy and what was their response similar to what lele did; so if you have been to the embassy, please share whether you are a PR or citizen and if you were allowed to speak to someone. Otherwise are you interested in all of us going to see if we can make a difference and get some answers??

I like what you said and i'm with you we can share all our info together  ,i called once but was before they close Syria office and i e-mailed them and they answer the same traditional way with no specifications about my case,today is my first day of the second year meaning i start my 13th month of waiting,(i'm canadian citizen and i'm here in lebanon waiting my wife paper to be done to go back home) i'm planing to go and see what i can do or whats going on,if you like to meet lets do it and we'll go together.

Ok perfect! Your presence is excellent because probably as a citizen you have better chances to be more heard when we all go together. we can write a list of question and you can represent us maybe or something or the such.

Some like lele, Hab and probably other silent readers have been waiting for longer. Why should we be left out and discriminated against just because they weren't ready for such transfer. Our lives are on hold and we are living apart from our loved ones. It's time to try to break out of this circle of confusion.

About ur hotel I have afew questions. Did u book it online or u just went there directly from the airport? How is the room and what is the rate?

I booked through phone.
The hotel is good. 100 Euro for one night including breakfast.
The best thing of this hotel is its distance till embassy.
