on 3-Feb-2012, I sent a letter to Ankara asking about my case and informing them the change of my residency, but no response from them.
Based on my GCMS info.,that I got today, my application had remained in CPC Mississuaga until 02-March-2012 and Ankara received that on 29-03-2012.

Mine was sent on march 2nd. So ankara received it on march 29th.
Anybody knows why it takes so long for ankara to get it. Are not they scaning everything and it is done online . That is what I was told by a consultant.
Does it mean they don't do it online and ship all the documents?

All the paper files have been physically moved to Ankara from Damascus.

 Don't trust the immigration consultants who usually don't know anything! How a CIC officer can do further checking and processing a file without having the documents and signatures of the applicant and sponsor!

they have your new information and they will respond to you from now on, when you send a routine email they dont respond, and changing address email etc is routine to them, they might respond but AGES later,
dont worry they have the new info

thanks Sohrab jan. what condition does a job offer have to meet so it would be considered valid . I got a couple of offers from two well respected companies, would u think it is needed in case they want a proof of resettlement ? ( knowing I haven't been back to CA since 2006 )

I was from 7:30 in the morning in front of embassy.
But it was meaningless. So do not do that!
They open the door in 8:05 - 8:10.
They have two entrance. I went to immigration part in the main road.
The security guard asked about my inquiry and i explained her that i want to submit my passport for issuing the visa. They opened the door and they did the security check and i went into the waiting room. I took the number for waiting and as you guess i was the first one. Then came 6 other Iranian applicants ans also Turkish applicants.
There was a lady under family sponsorship from Shiraz, she said that she was waiting since 16 months and 3 days before she has received the PPR!
Finally i gave my Passport and if every thing is ok i am going to pick my passport tomorrow up!

Most of the workers in visa section as i saw beside the window were women. Old and Young ones!

This is specifically mentioned for the applications transferred from Tehran, but I assume this question and answer could relate to all transferred applications and if they want they can simply give the same answer to permanent resident applicants as well!
