AS AN IRANIAN WE DO NOT NEED FOR AN ENTRY VISA TO TURKEY. SO SHE CAN GO ANKARA AND GET HER VISA AND THEN FLY TO CANADA WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM. SHE DOES NOT NEED TO COME BACK IRAN.

Congratulations, that means they are working on your file and you are almost at the final stage before requesting ppr, but I have an advice to you , that you should be careful in every document you provide in the regards of mistakes even if it takes a longer time (write, read and revise).
it is really a good sign from Beirut vo, finally !!!!!
 I just have a question, did you receive the request to provide documents by mail or email ??

good luck, if you have undergone the medical , your ppr should be requested within 2~3 at max.

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. Please send us the following documents:



-Updated Lebanese Police Certificate

-Military service card and Military Service Background Record

-Civil registry extract for yourself and your spouse listing current status as married

-Lebanese Family List for yourself , spouse and children

-Lebanese Marriage Certificate

-If this is not the first marriage either for you or for your spouse, please provide Divorce Certificate from previous marriage

-Residency Questionnaire (to be filled by sponsor)

-Supplementary information form

Complete the attached application forms. Do not leave any blanks, and provide full dates with months and years, if something does not apply, write N/A. You must ensure you cover the period of time from the age of 18. Blanks or missing information may cause significant delays in the finalization of your application.

You must send photocopies of the Arabic originals of all documents. Only send ORIGINAL documents when requested. All documents, in a language other than English or French must be accompanied by original certified translations into English or French, except the passport.

If you are requested to submit a Police Certificate (see above), please send the original police certificate and the certified translation.

Please note that if you do not comply with this request within 30 days of the date of this letter, your application for permanent residence in Canada will be assessed on the basis of the information already before the officer. yes if i was in Tehran it was possible. For Argavan it is easier than me because i have to fly to Istanbul and then Ankara!

just this week my husbands ecas also changed, and it mentioned that medical results have been received dont know why it took this long ...

Out of curiosity, how many people here with files in Ankara have gone to "in process" and "medical results have been received" on ecas?

Hey Ali. I saw your name and I remebered that I did not answer your question. Sorry for the late reply.
Actually I found out that my file was not transfered to damascus because my husband contacted Damascus to ask to change his email but we did not get any reply, that is why I contacted Cic and then I found out that my file was in mississauga still. That was 5 months after I applied(jan). I was shocked and worried because when I asked why , he told me he does not know. He asked me to call after a month and maybe it is transfered. But I called every week and nothing happened. It was funny because everytime I called I asked I want to know where my file is and the told me my file was transfered to damascus but I said when was it and then they gave the date that I got in the approval letter( in the approval letter they said my file has already transferd to damascus). Then I told them are sure because when last week I called my file was still in mississauga and everytime the agent acted surprised and put me on hold and came back and said you are right ur file still here. Then posted my story here and that ttime there a few other people like me. So stopped worring because I found out that they are closing damascus and transfering files. I was not complaining until I saw that people that applied jan or december their file was directly transfered to Ankara and mine was in canada until march.
At first when ever I saw people that applied after, put the time that file was transfered in vo in their timeline, i usd to think they say that based on the approval letter but theirs is hold like mine. But then I saw people that applied in dec or jan got file number or email from ankara. Then I called cic and asked why my file is not being transfered while people that applied 5 or 6 months after me their file is transfered. Like always they said they don't know. Next time I called in mid march they said finally my file was transfered.
I can understand it is possible that vo needs extra time to process some cases and some cases take longer than others. But honestly I don't understand why they did not send the files in order they received.
I just hope that ankara takes into consideration that when we applied. That is why I don't should I count from october or march

Thanks for the explanatory reply, wow, they sure are very inconsistent time to time. I guess it's best to just wait and see what happens next, hopefully this will be over for all of us.

Sohrab joon, kheyli mikhaamet. There is a direct flight from Turkey to Toronto I am pretty sure because my friend's mom came that way once to see her cousin in Toronto as well before flying back to Vancouver, I hope I am right.

If there was no problem by her leaving the Iranian borders and not coming back soon, that is the best thing to do, there reason I am commenting on this is that I will have my wive do the same considering all aspects.

Oh also, make sure if she wants to go through a transit, she doesn't require Visa, again I am pretty sure she wouldn't if she lands in an European country.
