Definitely, Ankara has been great! However, the biggest concern is Beirut! I don't know what to think about the processing time there! We are thinking of going to the embassy, what do you think?

All the people that got ppr.... Would you mind to say if you have the 2 years military service.
 Arezou , I was wondering if you can add another column stating if the person went to millitary service or not.
Of course it the people don't mind to share.
This way maybe we can compare better and see if that slows the process

Dear Friends!

My wife got her PPR on Friday! I would like to thank you all for being my compassionate companions during this hard journey! Although I was a very silent reader, I followed all your posts very carefully and learned a lot. I hope everyone of you get his/her PPR very soon and all of us can finally live with our darlings happily ever after. Here is our timeline:

Sponsorship was approved on May 13, 2011.
Application received in Damascus on June 3, 2011.
First medical expired on March 5, 2012.
Received an email from Ankara to redo the medicals on March 21, 2012.
Second medical was done on April 6, 2012.
PPR email was received on April 27, 2012.

I encourage u to do so, there is no harm in going there and talking to them. Cic was supposed to issue the quarterly update a few days ago which is not the case.
