oh , you mean that u sent forms on 18th March ? definitely u will receive next week  No I sent them registered mail a few days before and tracked them to see the we're received on the 18th. I think mine will say the same as everyone else... Not started  I hope they START something soon!!! |

since our friend friend tonyy shared that link, it reminded me to mention something, i met with minister kenney recently, actually our whole department did, he made a speech regarding he wants to speed up immigration , ESPECIALLY the skilled workers, i wanted to say something but they didnt allow me , it was a listen and i dont care what you think speech, so yeah, he's a joke, i think the entire immigration system is a joke right now , but we are stuck with it for another 4 years
Hope not my friend,,,hopefully soon will have a new election coz nothing is running right in canada!!!!!!!!!! |

Irresponsiveness!!
All I want to see from cic is some transparency. CIC! It's very normal that in return of a fee that u charged ur client, u be responsive to him and let him know about the progress of his case. Why do u leave us in darkness?
My friend calls her vo in sydney and they always talk nicely and help. So , i think it is the middle east cic that has problem |

Hi, they close only may 21 for Victoria Day. On their website I dont see may 1! lebanese embassy closed May 1.Labour Day!very niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice just what we need!

Guys, I thought I'd share that I just received my GCMS report back. I had ordered it around the 13th of March for it took just a few days short of 5 weeks. I learnt from it that my file was received in Beirut in March and that every status is not started except the medical which I have passed. I guess it is disappointing to learn that after all this time nothing has been done on my file; however, my only reconciliation is that I know that they have actually received my second medical test and that my file is in Beirut for sure. What else can I say... out of encouraging words, don't have the heart to type any:( Sorry... |

You never know... Ankara has proved to be a whole different arena; so hopefully you will get something positive. It seems that all of us have run out of every shred of energy left to go through this. I'm trying to force myself to remember that everything happens for a reason but It's one of these days when I miserably fail. We need some good news!!!! Hopefully -in GOD's will- we will hear something soon. |

Hi Nenan, I'm no CIC agent, but I have read a lot of posts since last year. If you are 13 years older than your husband, then they will definitely wonder, as I read a few days ago on another forum here about the guy's wife being two years older than him, but they wondered because of the quick marriage as well.
But if you're younger than him, then it's understandable, up to a certain point. If he's 33 and you're only 20, then I think for sure they will wonder a lot, but if he's 37 and you're 25 then I wouldn't think of it being an issue so long as you are compatible in terms of similar education.

Don't ove-analyse the situation. Indian sari is perfect costume, and also in middle east it's very normal to see age gap in the marriage. So my suggestion is, don't relate the delay in the issuance of ur visa to miscellaneous reasons.

I have great news, everyone.
Nicholas Keung, Immigration Reporter for the Toronto Star, has responded to my third and final email, and said he passed them to his editors, and he made an inquiry to CIC about all our problems, so it shows these emails really do have an effect!
