has anyone done their medicals recently after the visa office switch. Which visa office did you write on top Damascus or your designated vo now?
Also, which forms did you take I just want to make sure I have the right forms.

So weird, they said in April they will be issuing visas. Today I know someone very close to me who went (shes canadian) to the embassy and asked to talk to someone at the embassy and they said NO ONE can talk to anyone in person and it has to be all through email, and that they are busy working. SO its funny how someones brother was ABLE to talk to an agent, and that AGENT told him visas wont be issued till June. |

Nairyd- I agree with your comment...I just spoke to an agent as well here in Calgary from the Canadian embassy...and she did not give me any info what so ever so I don't get where people are hearing these things...rumors.

He told him there is a lot of files and no enought people and they are still trying to organize everything for theese reasons they will not be able to issue visas before june. Why does it take so long for them to get orgnized. First they said marche the April and now june. what does orgnizing mean. As much as I know all the files are scanned and send to vo. They don't send the actual it phiscally. So why don't they just start working on files in order the recieve and some work gets done and eventually files get orgenized. Maybe they want to orgnize their furntures  |

That is actually good idea. People that live near VO should make firendship with officers. send your kids to the same school that their kids go. The get info. LOL.
They make us wait so long and don't even want to give any info

Hmmm, truee..but someone wrote on this forum that someone got a visa from the embassy last week (family class). I really DON'T know what to believe anymore, what news and what news not to. I really think this friend said something of the top of his head, no one (i dont even think the workers) know when they will be actually fully, 100 percent ready-them not even being ready is such a downer to us, why would they transfer files to a place that doesnt have the capability of doing the work? I need to stop thinking about this, i have made myself sick!! Anyways best of luck to everyone, not only with your visas, but trying to stay sane in the crazynesss!  |

ok as we read our dear friend was talking about lebanon, well, ankara is no where close to that, today was my second day back at work here in ottawa and from what i saw ankara has a quota of 2 ppr per day, thats down from 5 a day but obviously we know why.........., anyways thats why i said incorrect information, i thought they meant every visa office, i hope amman and beirut start doing what they are supposed to but i know ankara is.....
