nice article by the way anybody know what they do when they do background check. Where do they get the information from. Iranian police or International police. Don't they just enter the name and search in their system if there is any information or record about the person. But that takes like 10 min. When the background check takes something like 6 months, it makes think do they actually hire a spy to follow the person  LoL. or do they actually send a person to do research about the person or everything is online? seriously I don't understand why checks takes so long. does the check takes long or the being in the queue is long?

Thanks. it was very informative. Nice to know what they actually do. But it is scary how complicated and long is the process. I was checking froum for August applicants. There were people who got ppr in 2 months after it was received by the VO  . so, good to know that not all the file go under checks. I guess it is a matter of luck  |

So I think the process itself isn't that long since it has been over for some people from different VOs in a couple of months. |

I have applied in December 2011 and it is very interesting to me that some people in the December thread have already landed in Canada. So I think the process itself isn't that long since it has been over for some people from different VOs in a couple of months.
The problem is that we come from middle east and it is enough for them to think about our files and our status two more times! |

Not true. I know a few families in Syria yesterday which received phone calls for PR...Which means visas shortly after. No visas before June
