What I'm saying is very selfish and cheap but eliminating 300,000 applications means more space for the current files, right?...... Its so pathetic!!

I don't understand but how they r allowed to do so?! If only 10% of those 300,000 ppl take a legal action, there will be so many law suits on Canadian courts against cic that cic needs to allocate a part of its budget to hire some lawyers!!!! And they claim that they r doing so to cut the budget!

yeah i'm sure the ones who applied after feb 2008 think like u siavashf but still it's sad....how can we know for sure that eliminating the backlog will make the process for the rest faster?....maybe they will just use those ressources to bring more temporary workers who don't have much rights and then they will b send out of Canada anyway at the end of their contract

honestly i have no clue how these poor ppl can take legal action....they r foreigners, so where will they do that, at an international court of justice? (which i assume has more serious cases to deal with and they could just say Canada took no legal binding for their process i mean there's no contract signing or anything like that; unless there's a human rights charter they violate now....i would not know since i'm not a lawyer)....if they all unite and present their cases to some international entity i don't know maybe....but still they won't see any result soon

good morning / afternoon everyone!!! i found this news interesting, scary and worrying in the same time it's not abt the family sponsorship class it's abt the federal skill worker class but still it says a lot abt how Canada is today if u don't want to read it full the article says that the FSW class applications sent before feb 2008 will b returned!!!!!!! imagine the poor people who applied and waited for 4 years with hopes and dreams and putting their life on hold maybe and now they just get everything back...what abt the ones close to get the visa, will they have their application back too??? really sad, i know there r some members here from that class who waited long time, i hope they r not affected

That's it... I had already sent the same letter to Mr. Jason Kenney and I can't seem to fins the response from his office at the time being but his response was along the same lines and explained that it is a fair system and we simply must wait our turn for our application to be reviewed.....

This is so annoying yet funny at the same time..my husband called the embassy in Canada few minutes ago to ask about the applications..he said "i want to ask about my wife's application, i'm sure you know a lot about whether they are being processed or not".
Guess what happened? hehe she said "if u know,then y r u calling?" and suddenly she hung up the phone...
They treat us in a very humiliating manner...am upset because of the way they are dealing with us...

When u logout from ur e-cas, u can give ur online feedback to cic.
Please Participate in the survey, if u haven't done that yet, and let them know about the draw backs of their system.
In the last question of the survey u can write down ur comments and suggestions, its good to mention that e-cas is unreliable and should be updated more frequent. I emphasized that I expected to get an approval for the receipt of my medical in my e-cas which has never happened.
