I check my ecase evryday. I feel sick in my stomach evrytime I check my ecase. So, I have decieded to check it only once a month.

I have a question some of you might be able to help me with since I'm kinda new at this whole thing. We sent our file to Mississauga on December 13 and the file was received on December 16th. I received my sponsorship approval on March 5th which was later than the usual time stated by CIC. Our file was sent to Ankara and knowing the situation in Ankara and the high volume of files, I decided to not check my e-case for a while to prevent disappointment. However, out of curiosity I checked it yesterday and it says that our file has been in process since March 16th!!! does it mean sth good? In the December thread people keep saying that when it shows in process it means that the file is in the last stage. Some of people in December thread have already received PRR and a couple of them have landed!!! I'm trying not to keep my hopes high so I wouldn't get depressed if the process takes too long. Do you know when e-case says the file is in process?

In process does it mean in last stage. It means they have started processing. Those people from December that got PPR , are the Iranian or their files are inAnkara?
We have Iranians from summer 2010 and so any from early 2011 that are still waiting for PPR. I can't imagin that people from December get PPR now. Anyway in this process lots of unexpected, wierd, and sometimes unfair things happens. So, you can expect anything.
I got my approval in October 2011 and my ecase never says in Process.

hi laleh, i'm behind u with that, i still cannot login in e-cas (the January group is soo big and takes so long to finish ) but all i can say is don't compare urself with other embassies....each embassy is different and has different way...each country is different, the documents r different with different expiry date, so on, i can talk until tomorrow also the processing time is different....i think it's good to see change in e-cas but noone can say how long it still takes after u see that change....be hopeful but without high hopes...i think ur initial approach of not checking often is a very healthy one i'll try to do the same

as a side note: i kept following the Dec thread until u got the approval after that, everyone was at 2nd stage, so i stopped; it's bothering a little to see ppl getting PPR so fast while others wait and wait; and also it's bothering that some believe that the way their embassy processes is the same all over the world, they think they know everything and they confuse the ones from other embassies.....good luck!!! stay in touch!!!

u don't know that.....don't cry!!!! unless u somehow managed to sneak like a ghost and see exactly what they r doing there r members who never had "application in process"; they got their visa without any change in e-cas for maybe one year....i guess maybe now their e-cas says in process LOL

Oh no. none of those people in the December thread are Iranian nor do their files have been sent to Ankara. However, I think their VO's have the same timeline as Ankara. I am expecting a longer waiting time since as you said there are still many Iranians who applied in early 2011 and still haven't heard anything.However, each case is different. hope we all hear from them soon.
