Hey! I hope you're all in good health. Guys please do this survey and maybe we can be heard about how e-cas is working. I did the survey and I asked them to update it on a regular basis rather then updating the service a month or so after a person has already received a phone call or email. If they update it regularly and gives us a progress report or something then we might not even have to call the visa office so often. I am hoping if enough people do this then they will listen. How can our files still be in boxes if you just got your e-cas updated? I would surely hope not because such news if verified would be extremely devastating!!!!
Hey still waiting! I really dont think ours files are in boxes, because my ecase got updated too! I really think they are starting to work on them, and poor Beirut, they are not a civilized country (unlike Ankara or Jordan) I am sure they will be issuing visas in the upcoming weeks  Have a great weekend all |

Happy for you dear, My timeline is somewhat close to urs but i don't think i'm that lucky to get the ppr in 7 months! and as you are from quebec as well, I would like to ask you,did you recieved any emil/letter after ur quebec approval from Damascus? did you ever contact them? and when do we have to count the time from is it from the date of federal aproval or provencial one? and I assume that u didn't need to redo ur medical right? sorry to ask many questions and congrats again |

they working on the ecase from canada not from the embassy so when they want to update any file they will call on the embassy asking about it the embassy will open that file and say what they found like medical received .....
I wouldn't think that this is exactly how it is done; since files get updated randomly with many people seeing no change to their e-cas from beginning to end. So I don't know about that; but the truth is I will be very happy when you get your PPR as happy as I'd be if I get mine because you and Hab and Farid and others have been waiting for it for sooooooooooooooooo long. It's been a year for me:( |

calling them from 20 or more of us maybe a good Idea to press on them

Welll, I totally heard wrong on the machine..their open on Fridays till 1, NOT Saturdays  lol!! Lets bother them on Monday?? lol. I have a feeling we will hear something in two weeks! |

I am thinking also to make a group of us and going to the embassy talking to them in a very very polite manner may be that will make them work or let one from the visa section talk to us ? what do you think ?
I don't think we should physically go there because we might seem like "protesters"; I guess I'm scared to do something that would harm the process of our files. What do you think? |
