wow, where is everyone? im in iran and im more active than my dear friends in canada haha, maybe its just because im happy, before coming to iran i was so busy i couldnt really participate in convos but i wanted to mention something , this is from 10 days ago, CIC told my mp that on march 1st they started transferring files, my mp told me sohrab i think they are giving us false info because i have clients that have gotten response from the ankara office, anyways the point is CIC is giving out wrong information for some reason, they told the mp that damascus is starting to transfer then 2 days later the embassy was shut down, like its common sense, anyways if anyone is in contact with their mp's i wanted to tell you dont take it seriously because it seems they are being fed the wrong info as well , anyways hopefully this will be done for all of us, personally i am sick and tired of waiting, going on 13 months and i dont even know if my wife's medical arrived , keep positive guys, pouya getting ppr shows there is no real order, if there was farid would have gotten it, best wishes to all especially my dear Iranians with the new year 2 days away

. I'm in same situation. As u I Dnt know if they received my medical or not So frustrating  I don't know how to check that!!!

sending away the firms to order CAIPS notes today just to fill my own curiosity:) It 'll be nice to hopefully see some notes on our file.... or better yet hopefully get PPR before we get the notes:)

Is CAIPS the form to find out more details about your application??  I think I remember Sohrab talked about it one day!  If I am right, could you tell me where you got the forms? So, I could send it too!

If I remember correctly our files reached Damascus on the exact same day (April 12, 2011) I think it's a good time for us to order CAIPS/GCMS notes.... it will be nice to see what they have done with our file so far. If you go on the CIC website (cic.gc.ca) you can search for the forms. They are IMM 5563 (access to information and personal information request form) and IMM  5475 (authority to release personal information to a designated individual form) it cost $5. if you pay online be sure to print the receipt and include it with the forms you send in. I can't remember... are you in Canada? the sponsor in Canada sends the forms but needs permission from the spouse overseas to access the info. Even if you fax the page to your spouse to sign and they fax it back. There are instruction with the IMM 5563 to follow.

I called the Canadian embassy in Beriut today, and it took some time to actually talk to someone. They told me they didn't want to say anything to keep my hopes up or to give me any info that will be false. But they reassured me that they havent issued any visas yet and they havent even started, but they will start very soon. I think this is great news, they havent started yet, but once they start they will be booming-I am sure of it (its not like they started giving out visas and we havent gotten it yet )
