I have a question guys, please help.
I married my wife in July, in Austria. I am born in Iran but have been in Canada my whole life. Basically my question is; do our Shenasnameh's(i dont really have one) have to be updated with our marriage status for the ppr to be granted or is our Austrian marriage certificate enough for the Canadian authorities? The reason being, it will be a big head ache, if at all possible, to get me a shenasnameh in order to have hers updated....

I hope it doesn't cause problem. Because we also married in out of Iran and legally it was impossible for us to update our Shenasnameh after marriage. We explained this issue in writing and sent along with our documents. |

we have been waiting since march 15th...pray for all of us:)we need our ppr so badly too.so is she gonna go to ankara her self of is she gonna post it?

My wife recieved PPR yesterday. They gave her 30 days to send her pass. Our file reached Damascus on 1-march-2011 and she redid medical exam in Nov.
It seems that they are working much faster now. I am sure all of you recieve PPR soon, stay hopeful and positive.
