here is the question bro,

An Iraqi friend of mine just recently got a PPR and he just needs some clarification. In the letter they asked him to send his passport as well as his identity card (required for Iraqi nationals). Now, the initial identity card that was used for the application has been lost and he does have a new one in hand. His question is, should he attach a note with the package stating that this is a replaced identity card or there is no need for that as the visa issuer will know that is the case....?

a lot of people are just saying there's no need to mention anything as im sure the VO will know and in the end of the day, they're just going to be matching information making sure that it is the person

one more thing, if he's going to send by mail, will he need to prepay for a return package or shall he wait to be informed by the VO that his passport is ready for pickup? At that point i'm guessing he'll just have to go to the nearest DHL office to have them pickup that package??

oh ok , no no he should definitely mention it, explaining how and when it was lost and when he got the new one, when it comes to cic the more information the better! the best advice i can give to you or anyone is when they want something send 10 times more than they want, if an Immigration officer asks themselves a question then you are in trouble.... do not let them ask question, provide what you can and more!

its best to prepay , DHL can go to his/her address, exactly like tehran, DHL or any other courier picks it up and when its done they deliver it back to the same address,

i knowwwwww.... i couldnt imagine 12 months when i applied, when i thought about 12 months i was like NO WAYYYYY thats not gonna happen to me........ here i am 12 months later.... wow.... all i can say is im tired of celebrating Processing anniversaries

yep letter was sent from amman asking him to submit his passport so its a good sign that amman is really working hard to get visas for those who've waited for so long

. He got letter in the mail not email??? Sorry was he sponsored by his wife and how long has bhr been waiting
