there were the client ID and file number in the mail CIC sent us to confirm they received our application (when they said our application was sent to Ottawa)

Just a Q: Is there anyway to call CIC from outta Canada? As I have just found one that is valid if you call from Canada only! Thnx
no dear, there is no way to call cic since its 1800 number but you can call the Foreign affairs department and they can forward you to CIC or they can answer your questions themselves 613-944-4000 |

In the subject write your client ID and also your full name. In the content introduce yourself as applicant and also mention your wife 's full name as sponsor. And then ask them about your file number and your file and if you want you can also send them a scan of your medical sheet. And inform them in this issue too.

The right address is: "ankara-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca" It does not have "re-" in the beginning, the "re-" one is the address they reply with, when you want to email them you have to use the address without the "re-".  I realized somthing very important about the contact email adress of VO in Ankara:After vivi2 pointed out that the "Re-" in the email refered to "reply", I resent my email to "ankara-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca" and right after sending I received a confirmation email from: "re-ankara-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca"  So everyone just be noted that the Email address mentioned on Ankara VO homepage is wrong : http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/turkey-turquie/offices-bureaux/contact_visa_contacter.aspx?lang=eng&view=d  the correct email address of Ankara VO is "ankara-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca" thanks Arezo and VIVI2 for sharing your ideas! |
