Family Sponsorship Applications Sent to Missisauga then to BEIRUT 2011/2012



Hi everyone,

I thought we should have maybe an additional forum for those who have applied for family sponsorship since May 2011 that are Lebanese. Check it out..it could be useful maybe to those whose files went to Beirut and Amman, since these 2 VO r very quiet....

What do u guys think?

:)You know....this feels like when a Tsunami hits the shore. For a while there is a total quitness in the ocean, and then the BIG wave rises up and all at once with full force washes everything away on shore. Let's hope a TSUNAMI of PPRS will hit us soon after this month of silence and I can notice the quietness of everyone....I know we are all awaiting at least ONE news and im sure we are all gonna be cheering from joy. No matter whose turn its gonna be, at least I will be very happy for this lucky person.

I share the exact same dates as you and one more person here, Abdmoh. I recvd the same e-mail dated the same and when i checked my e-case it says recvd PR July 4. I dont know what to say to you, but be patient. I called my MP and I was told that my file along with 150 more went to Montral and they never processed them. So 8 months waiting for nothing. Then i was assured that my file was sent to Beirut Feb 13 but I cannot get any more info from my MP before Mid March because Beirut VO will not respond to any request.
Just out of curiosity, r u Lebanese? Because I am wandering if all these files were for the Lebanese that were placed on hold.

At least they are replying to emails which is a good thing . Syria never even replied. They open in March is that correct?

Since the Damascus topic is not even talking about Amman embassy at all and half the sentences are Farsi (which I don't speak, and somewhat rude cause it keeps some of us left out), I feel left out in the dark about what's going on in the embassy.

Maybe it's time to call them?

And does anyone know why the F number is no longer working? Does that mean they are changing the file number or something?

some days ago we were criticizing Canadian about their behavior about us and our files but i think all of them is because of us and our behavior.

I' ve got a question I think u guys would know the answer,
My case is still in mississauga( sent on Dec 30,2011)  , no AOR/ Aprroval yet,

My agent couldn't get the option C , so they just sent a letter to explain the reason for not sending it in.

I asked my bro to get the option C in case, so we got the option C from 2007-2010 now.
should I just go ahead and ask my brother to send it to CIC without telling the agent about it?
If yes , what address ?
I will be really disappointed if the application is sent back as incomplete  

your help would be appreciated

Hi Mehdi, I wanted to add something to my application, so I called the call center and this is the address that they gave me to add documents:

P.O 6100. Station A- Mississaga . L5A 4H4.

I would suggest to ask your brother to send it and then send a fax and saying that you sent it. Send the fax a few times so that way you make sure when they see your fax they look for your option C and add it to you package. I don't remember the fax number. But if you need it I can call the call center for you and ask. or maybe you can search it online.

the thing is if u send now without a client number/file number etc, it will take long for them to match ur extra document with ur file...by the time they match it, they might already start processing ur file without it...if u have already the file number then u will probably also have a decision from them soon after....
if u do send i think it's faster by courier and the courier address is this:

(by courier u will also know exactly the date when they receive it)

i know some people who applied after u received approval but i don't think that's the majority...so wait for the day they post on the website to change and hopefully u will get everything before that!!! good luck!!

u toooooo Arezou jooon....so right abt what u said, in some situations, from their way, people r the ones creating their own problems....sometimes i feel some visa offices r very slow because the officers will double check every single thing and answer; just recently i read a case when at the answer were u previously married the person answered no when he was; now the embassy after long time of checking asked him for some new documents which will reveal that; a case like this will make them double check eeeeeeeveryone else; so it's not really discrimination, it does not realy matter the religion, color, ethnicity, the problem comes from the other applications and from the people themselves
