Damascus/Spousal since Jan 2010 or late 2009

Need help!
According to my e-cas, they received my file in May 2011 but since e-cas is not that reliable I'm not sure if my file has ever been received physically by Damascus. (there r people who applied in september and their e-cas was quoting the same statement but later they came to know that their files were kept in mississauga).
Those who have a file number like Arezou (who applied in feb) can be sure that their files were there in damascus but there is no way at the moment that I can learn about my file number.
My question is that do we have anybody in this forum who applied in April/May and received a file number from Damascus? (from Arezou case I can say that those who applied in feb 2011 can be sure that their files were in Damascus, but when it was that cic stopped sending files to Syria? Any clue?)

my husband apply the application in Mississauga on 29\4\2011 and as they said my file reached Damascus vo at 4\6\2011 and he sent email to them at September and he got reply from them and the subject of email was 2  file numbers  and also tailed with my name ,the first number preceded by letter B and the second number preceded by letter F and at the end  of subject they write ( / Fc1) is that mean I have file number and my filed was transferred to Damascus vo???

I think that if they didn't have your file they would have ignored your email and not replied with file numbers, Damascus was so good at ignoring emails! So if you had a communication with them that means they had your file

Guys my husband redid his medical today, but the doctor has forgot to write down his file number on the green sheet and I guess also on the sheet he is sending to Paris. They can match the medicals up right? I mean the name and date of birth and address and photo and everything is there, they will find his file number to add it to his medical file in Paris, right? Or should I start panicking?!

vivi jan...this is very important ..in my opinion , your husband should talk to DR. and if he said is ok .......

but in my idea is positive and there is no need to writing file number , because they have in their system medical id ..  ( UMI  : MD........ ) don't worry

Azizam I don't know what's my file number.....as it was discussed earlier in this forum, writing down the file number is not that important. Arezou also sent her second medical without her file number...don't worry.

It means that ur file was in Damascus and it is in Beirut now.

I hope so siavashf, it must be now in Amman as Iraq files directed to Amman,I hope you assured that your file was in Damascus vo all this passed time  and No more delay in your ppr

I called the VO in Ankara, and I asked some questions, and here are the answers: ( The lady was very nice and she said she fully understands the I might be going crazy about the transfer)

Q- did you start working on applications that you received from Damascus yet?
A- they have started working on them just last week but it will take until at least mid-march to give out the first batch of PPR

Q- If my application was sent to Damascus  8 months ago do I have to wait another 5 months ( Turkey Timeline) Does the timeline for me start for the start all over again.
A- No, but you might have to wait 2-3 months.

Q- New application's will it be the time line you have posted on CIC?
A- we will try to make it in 5 months but because there will be very big batch coming to us in the next 2-3 weeks ( Files that are still in Mississauga) you should give it a few more months maybe 6-7 months.

She told me that not to worry, because they are going with the files as fast as possible.

so people who have 10+ months INSHALLA you will be getting your PPR in the next 1-2 months.
BUT the first batch of PPR should be in MID-MARCH.

no no its fine, they can easily track it , name and date of birth is stronger than file number
