I just called CIC. He confirmed my application was still in Mississauga and will take another month at least to go to Beirut despite the fact that they sent me a letter saying my Application was sent to Syria 3 weeks ago. |

Is there anyone IN Toronto who has been lied to by CIC call centre agents that would like to pursue their case via legal channels? I have decided to consult a lawyer.

OMG I can't believe I've been waiting all these time,today and since few minutes I completed 8 months waiting for pr and I will start in the 9th month ,I've been apart from my husband for 7 month  |

Thats really embarrassing!! Just imagine, someone picks up the phone and says some bull*censored word* and later u'll find out it was a lie! Shame on u CIC! |

can anyone ask his MP about the file, even if I don't mentioned that in my application? I mean it will be considerd as a representative or not? cuz I never contact the MP and I didn't state in my application about that...is it ok to ask him about my file without telling the embassy about it? cus i dont really kno the process when u let your MP involved in ur file. |

Do you think that will actually help though? I don't want to create problems for them and further aggravate the situation. If they lie, who knows if they will put my application at the bottom of the list and make it drag on even more...
I would not suggest to argue with them or treath them because they have power and can do anything. I am sure there are so many of us like you. Waiting longer is better than never getting a visa. for me that my husband gets his visa and come to canada is so important that I would not take any risk. I am sure it is same for evryone esle |
