Hi,

I need your help, as I mentioned long time ago, I went down in Lebanon the second and third week of January to see my wife. Today, my wife told me she is pregnant  . Our file was transferred to Beirut, my question is what it would be good if I send an e-mail to the Embassy of Canada in Beirut to tell them that my wife is pregnant? Does that'll make it move forward on?

I'm not sure if it speeds up the process but for sure inform them. At the end the officer who is processing ur file is a human and understand how important is it for ur wife to have u by her side.

I called CIC today to clear that up she told me that as soon as turkey receives our files they will open them where we left off and we should follow the processing time of Turkey but to expect some delay to make up for transfer. she said it is a little bit confusing as to hiw ling it will take but we are under turkey now. hope that helps:)

I got an e-mail from CIC saying my case has gone to Damascus on January 17, 2012.  When I check online.  It says Application Received then it says medical results have been received.  Is that a good thing?  Will my process be quick?

it is strange..my ecase is different ..

For my husband says the same thing. It says we received your appilcation on..... That is the date that missisaga recieved the whole package.
I can understand mine because it never made it to Damascus. It is still in Mississaga. I called today morning to ask if it has been transfered to Ankara or not. They said that they are transffering all the application for Iranian from Damascus to Ankara. But they are waiting for further instruction for the new one. That is funny . I appliced in Aguest and mine is considered a new application after 6 months

God knows where  is my file, they gave me an email  that sent my documents to Damascus for further ....,
you mean that they lied me,and the letter was wrong?

They probably did. Because they send me a letter that have send it to Damascus but never did. We tried emailing damascus because my husband needed to change his address but we never got any response and when I called MIssissaga I found out that it is still here. That was two weeks ago. I asked why and they told me call in 3 weeks and we will tell you what is going happen to your file. I was frustrated and I thought maybe my application only has problem. Then I heared from others that theirs is still waiting in Mississaga eventhough they got a letter stating that application was forwarded . Finally I could not wait until next week and I called today . They told me that they are tarnsfering the one that are in Syria but Have not started transfering the ones that are still in Canada. I asked when They are going to start he said we are waiting for further instruction.

so by me being on the "use of representative" can i ask the VO to send the passport back to my address in Canada, knowing that i will be going to the country were my spouse is to pick her up?

Hi. I have the same problem. I am scared that they mail something to my husband's address becuase he lives in appartmnet provided to them by his work with other co worker. Nobody knows that he is married to a girl that leaves in Canada. Otherwise they would not renew his contract for the new year. Plus I don't trust the post in Iran. I was thinking that instead of mailing his mailing address, I give my mailing address. I am going to ask my husband to fax me use of representative and then I send it to them. Then I can call them to ask for his address change. Because now they don't talk to me about his information. NThe say he should contact. But the number is tollfree and he can't call. Funny I said that and they say ask him to call the visa office. I said which visa office because mine is still in canada. He even tried to send a letter to missisaaga . Then DHL in Mashhad did not accept it because they said they need exact address not P.O Box. So it costed him 50 dollars to send to me in Van. and Then costed me 34 to send it with priority post. When I called to confirm if the address is changed we were back to first sopt. They can't share his information with me( his wife and the person who wants to bring him here. Plus I am the one that shipped all his ducument and forms to mississaga, So already know everything. Anyways I know their hands is tied by rules and they know nothing more the lines that they memorize). Then I said can you please atleast tell me if you received a letter from me in september. He said noooo.

That is why I am going to send use of representative so I can call to change his address. But I am not sure if I do that They will let me to change his address or if he can have my address as his mailing address.

Congratulations on your wife's pregnancy!
I think you had better NOT inform the CIC Beirut Office; especially if you've been waiting a lot, because they might have your wife wait until she gives the birth, and then your new born undergo a medical examination. I think you should consult one of the immigration consultants before informing CIC Office.

All the call center agents lie. Some more some less. I know that becuase I was one . You have to lie they make you lie. plus they want you to hang up as soon as possible so their handling time is on target.

And I hope she will receive her PPR very soon and spend his pregnancy with you in Canada not alone!

Are you a new applicant or old one?
If you are new and have received such an email it is unbleiveble!

why are you guys asking ridicolous questions?!?! dameshgh is closed, ankara is taking care of iranians , amman, beirut , is taking care of the rest, all of the sudden people are asking I APPLIED 2 MONTHS AGO WHAT DO I DO, wait , thats the best advice
