i do not think that having the file number or not is an important issue. Do not bother yourself.
About the calling the embassy, i think that now we have enough evidences which shows that the files will be transferred soon or late. Do not worry. Now we have to wait till receive a news from embassy itself! |

Hi Arezooo, my English is not good enough to call the embassy , I think ,it s better one of us call the Damascus and ask them, if they say to transfer to Lebanon , call to there. I m so worry,

Arezou jan, This petition is irrelevant to spouse sponsorship. It's criticizing the long processing time for a temporary visa. Anyway thanks for sharing....what is not ok is the way that cic is treating us... |

Hello everyone  Good news....my husband got his visa from the Beirut office on Jan. 23! There were also others there picking up their visas so don't lose hope! I guess everyone is still unsure if the office is closing but just be patient. Inshallah all of the files will be processed faster if they are transferred, especially those who have been waiting a year or more. I know it's hard but just try to keep busy and the time will pass. Believe me a year passed faster than I expected! Good luck everyone congrats !! its about time !! wish you a great life together inshallah !! :-) |

Ummm we always do, my husband has sent them emails three times and me once, and all four times we got the confirmation email. |

yes, always we get a confirmation email. it is an automatic reply. are you sure you entered it write, maybe you wote it wrong. |
