I am hoping for Turkey too Vivi!!! Maybe wherever they send them they will feel sorry for us and process us quicker!! thank you to everyone who has called the embassey and shared the news... we've been patient so far, a little more and we should know where our files are;)

U r absolutely right. But at the end if it eases the process for the rest of Iranians ishala ke beshe. Everything happens for a reason, maybe we were supposed to stay far from each other to know the value of patience and love more than the others...... 1 year is the price that we have to pay to build our whole life with our spouses in the future!
After reading this post it lifted my spirits...great words!!  I really hope this nightmare ends soon, today is not so good of a day--somedays I feel more disconnected!! Good luck everyone!!!!! |

Hi Everyone,
I just got off the phone with Damascus and the lady told me that the Embassy will be closing at the end of the month, and they have not worked on any files this month becaause they have been busy packing all the files.
She also told me that most of the files are already packed and they are waiting for a word from Ottawa as to where to send them, which should come in the next few days.
She told me I should call back on Thursday or Sunday to check again.
wow really, i dont know what to say, i guess they kept this whole thing a secret for a reason, maybe thats why they asked me to leave early, i just hope things go smoother, i guess we now wait for an official announcement |

Na Laleh jan, He hasn't seen his wife due to his busy schedule even before filing the application. He has waited around 11 months so far. |
