Thanks for you reply VIVI ...but the lady said she spoke with a " research Specialist" at CIC and he verified the app has not reached Damascus yet?! but she did say maybe it has been transferred but they never updated the system... she emailed the case processing center in Mississauga to double check then I will call again next week...Yes, I did email damascus last week requesting File Number but still no reply....Wish me luck you guys  ahh . HOws your timeline VIVI? any news yet? I hope you get a reply from Damascus soon and since it was ur first email I think they will reply. I hope you get a reply from Damascus soon and since it was ur first email I think they will reply. But don't worry, and maybe call CIC again, because my experience says that every time that you call and speak to a different agent you do get different replies unfortunately!
With the sponsor approval letter that you got and with the client ID number have you tried logging in to ecas to see what's there?
As for me, I will hit the 9 months mark tomorrow, we were requested for some documents 2 months ago which we sent right away, but since then no news ...

Hi, Yes that F number is your file number. Well before it was different and we had to ask the local visa office for the file number, starting with B, but recently they have changed this and Mississauga issues the file number, starting with B, or F, I've heard of E too! |

Yes i have logged into ecas but it only says " Sponsor" ( Decision Made) and Application for perm. res. received Sept 21 ( but thats the date is sent my app to Mississauga" So the lady on the phone in Damasucs Embassy said they will be transferring all files??? is that true...so may be its a good thing that it hasnt reached DAM yet....maybethey can send directly from Mississauga to Beirut?! Inshallah khair ya rabb, best ofl luck to you alllll |

Hey Everyone!! I was just on the phone with a CIC-M call center agent and she verified that the applications have not been sent to DAMASCUS yet! I applied Sept 21, reicieved my approval nov 24 and its been 2 months and the app still hasn't reached DAMASCUS I dont know if thats a good thing or bad thing considering the situation now there...What should I do ?? Tina jan, U r the second person raising this issue today! Its very strange that ur e-cas is updated and hence ur documents are not received by Damascus. Have u checked ur e-cas? What's written there? I've kept my fingers crossed for u. |

Happy 9 months in advance!! It is ridiculous that a human can gives a birth to a baby in 9 months and Damascus can't issue a visa in that period!! lol.....Damascus lamasab bodo! |

Hi Siavashf! well, the only thing thats updated on ecas is that I was approved as a sponsor...but it doesnt say that my file was transferred to damascus or anything.. thank you dear take care |
