Damascus/Spousal since Jan 2010 or late 2009

sohrab jan, i just skip the messages i don't like to read, try it! lol!
unfortunately we are all in a situation that a tiny little negativity can make us feel down for hours or even days. it's hard to stay positive and i don't want anything taking away my hope and happy feelings! i feel so sure that my hubby will be here with me for my birthday (a few days before norouz) and even if he doesn't get here by then i'm not gonna lose anything by feeling happy and hopeful about it! so i prefer to keep my hopes up!
we all know what we signed up for, no one forced us to apply for canadian permanent residency, but everything has a price, if i want to live in canada with my husband this is the price we pay (i'm not talking if 13 months is logical or not, but it is what it is)!!

i should....... seriously i should try it, its just im so used to being the same old sohrab, reading and trying to help , anyways yeah i know what u mean aziz, jan 18 will be 19 months that i havent seen my arghavan ,im still strong though , hey i came this far what other option do i have, well to be honest i made a deal with her i said if we dont hear anything 2 weeks before norooz then im coming, cuz that will be 12.5 months of processing for me, so yeah even though i dont want that to happen if it does i wouldnt mind, norooz in meydoon tajrish buying 7 sin lol

farid jan khosh oomadi aziz, all i can say is its 10000 times harder to sponsor a man from iran, because of military background and everything, my WIFE'S security check has taken 19 days so far and shes only 19 lol imagine a guy who for example is 30 living in iran
be patient, the embassy has no control over CSIS background checks,

some new data released from data.gc.ca in january 2012, i thought you guys might like to know as well:
during october 1, 2010 to september 30, 2011, 1237 spouse & partners cases were processed in damascus visa office, with an approval rate of 94% (very high compared to other visa offices, some with 50%!).
during this period 20% of the applications were completed in 8 months or less,
30% in 9 months or less,
50% in 10 months or less,
70% in 12 months or less,
80% in 13 months or less.
we're so close everyone! yaaaaaay!

if you look carefully last year 2010 were:

30% in 6 months or less,
50% in 7 months or less,
70% in 9 months or less,
80% in 10 months or less.

I think situation in Syria effected on our application.

thanks for your sympathy..but we called Embassy 2 times, they told us ,sorry we can not give  u any information by phone..im waiting for second CAIPS, IF it couldn't satisfied me im gonna compliant of officers who has worked on my application  by expert lawyer

yeah processing times have increased and they could have been better and everything ... but i'm not comparing my timeline to people who applied a year or 2 years before me, what's the point except upsetting myself?! i'm comparing myself to the people who have applied around the same time as me and the fact that my application is reaching it's 9 months and 30% of the cases recently have been finalized in 9 months is what gives me hope.
yeah things could have been better but now that they're not and i can't change it, so i stay happy that at least for 80% it's 13, not 24 or 30!

i think that they are searching about my military service , because i ve done 2 years in SEPAH ...u know that sepah is a danger name for them..it was 1 reason...and another reason , i think that they are gonna  verification about the first question in the IMM 5490 FORM..do u know what did i reply to their question...WHERE DID YOU FIRST MEET YOUR SPONSOR IN PERSON?
i told them ..ON FACEBOOK...im sure they are gonna research and verification about this subject...IS MY CERTIFICATE MARRIGAE FAKE OR REAL? but god knows , i adore my wife and i don't care about these sohrab jan...we got married and nobody can not prevent and making trouble for going to canada..

my wife called to CIC yesterday  and she asked them, how can i follow up my husband's application? i wanna come to Ottawa AND talk to you face to face at your office..and then they told her..sorry if u wanna follow up your case , u should go to Edmonton..because all of permanent resident's application are in the our main office.

it's too far Montreal to Edmonton..so we should be patient despite of my ....
