i TOTALLY agree with you , i mean we all have our sad and bad days but they're not everyday , and yes the new crowd is more negative , the thing is, wether they're negative or positive nothing changes the situation ,  we are way better then other countries  take a look at Abu Dhabi in UAE its over 20 months , Canada is doing us a favor by accepting our spouses based on the fact that theyre married to us and maybe not a contribution to society and we should thank them for it  not insult them and pressure them to just accept someone quickly what if someone u married is a criminal or a bad person and u dont even know it , its canada's job to find out. Our original countried wouldnt do 10% of what canada does for us yet we still go there and love them so i think canada deserves a LOT more respect.

One question.

My Medical will be expired in Mid Feb (1 month from now). Saying at least it takes 1 month till Damascus receive my medicals, should I redo it now or should I wait till it is expired and then redo it?

siavash jan unless a miracle happens you need to redo it so why rush your self when you can take your time, i personally did mine 3 months after it expired but mine expired 6 months into the process lol

If ur sending second medical. Like the green paper to the embassy do I need to put anything on the envelope other then their address  and I attached letter along with green sheet inside??

nope its like sending mail anywhere else, just IMMIGRATION SECTION

send like a normal envelope. But be sure that your file number is mentioned on the green sheet otherwise refer to your file number for preventing further discrepancies. Will you use a regular mail or will you use a courier?

hello miss you all we've been told that some files are beeing transferred to beirut's embassy, that's what we knew from the MP .. they said we are in the last stage .. police verification but it's been about 2 months or maybe more in this step .. does it really take that long guys !!

no i did myself, i mean its common sense , you cant enter without a valid medicals and hers expired in september , so yeah we did it again on dec 19, she also did her security check but i told her not to send anything to damascus yet because we dont know if they are going to ask for RQ or not

do they usually ask for updated security check? my husband redid his medical last week but we didn't know if he should redo the security check too. did you get the check all translated and ready to go when they ask? I remember his first check taking almost a month to get sent to him.... maybe he should redo it just in case???

Hey! My husband re did his secuirty check and got it all translated and we also sent that to the embassy (just in case) when they asked for the medicals. It's better then nothing! Good luck

...and in the email they sent us asking us to redo the medicals, they said we had to send the medical report section A to them in no more then 30 days

You might want to send a *copy* of the CSQ to Damascus just in case; people have been known to get requests from VOs for their CSQs even though they were under the impression that the Ministere de l'Immigration et des Communautes Culturelles had forwarded it.

Welcome Joe,
all of us are at the same boat. Barely some one hear some news from embassy unless they themselves need some info and contact with you. All of us are waiting. So there is not an unusual thing.
