I'm from Iran and my husband is sponsoring me,our file has reached Damascus since March and we have not heard from them at all, hence  I don't have my file No., so  anyways I did my medical exam over a year ago and I'm thinking of redoing it without them asking me , I'm curious if I need to have  my file No. for redoing my medical exam?and if so how can I get it?

hi friends, wow what a disappointing week, well not really, i mean there was only 2 working days and a lot of back log from before the holidays, not to mention immigration system/server upgrade, but i have a good feeling for the days/weeks to come positive thoughts=positive results

i sit today with a person who get his visa two days ago and ask him some question, but whats surprise me is when they ask him for interview he didnt go to syria and he did it in jordan, hes file reach damascus 6 dec 2010 they ask him for interview 5 Nov 2011 they issue  visa 4 Jan, so its 13 months, he went to syria and get his visa he told me that there was 6 ppl get visa the same day, im just wondering if they ask me for interview is it going to be in jordan or syria?

i need some info on  the medical exam: my friend here in Canada wants to sponsor his spouse however she is pregnant. if she goes to the DMP, is she able to get the x-ray exam?

lets say she's not able to get the x-ray just for argument sake, will she be able to do the physical testing (urine & blood) and have that sent to the Paris office, and once she gives birth, she can do the x-ray?

I mean the difference is, if I understood properly, is that they already started their application before she was pregnant and then when her medicals expired; they had to wait until she delivered to redo them. In any case, I'm sure other members who are familiar with them would be more able to hook you up with them, and you can ask them your questions directly... I'm thinking of directly the question to Arezou because she handles the chart and very present and aware of different situations.
On a different note, I suggest that you'd actually contact the CIC office in Canada to ask them directly because contacting the Damascus office is more of long shot.

please guys i checked my application status it always said aplication received but now it says decision made and we will inform xxxxx about this decision.please what dous this mean?im going to die.sombody tell me.im in canada and the one sponsering xxxxxxx mu husband

Well, from my own judgement and my interpretation of the definitions, applications by definition are received from the time they are complete i.e. incomplete ones get returned or treated differently. So you have to really make sure that they are informed about that special treatment of incomplete files. The way to do so is to call the CIC office, well try to anyways because they keep hanging up in your face after you choose all the right options saying that the queue is too long for them to take your call! But, it does work randomly so try your luck!  1-888-242‑2100

Is your husband a PR or a citizen? if he is a PR, then you could use his client id number which is his PR card number, with his name, date birth and country of origin. I found this out by chance since I didn't have my file number either. Basically, if he has a record with the immigration department, you could access that record and see your data there.
Otherwise, I saw that other members have gotten their file numbers from the sponsorship approval notice that your husband would've initially received. Hope this helps.
