i went to my mps office yesterday and the secretary there sent damascus an email so well see.she told me they answer after one week,why the file is on hold.she told me only when its been one year we can send and they answer!one whole year!

I would think it is fine- the immigration officers are educated in what documents from different countries look like. They should be aware that Iraq does not include the surname. I hope I understood correctly and gave you the answer you were looking for;)

no they did not till now, but it seems they will in this year.
I am worred about working there, I wanna start working. no permenant residence , so no stable situation, so the employer will not want to hire employee like us in his company. this make life  tough and tough it is not fair.
and how will effects on other things like medical care or studing some courses.

lele don't worry; conditional PR does not mean that u cannot work or study; u will get all the documents like before - medical, social insurance for working, driver license, etc and u can live like any other PR; the only difference is that after some time they will check again if the relationship is still going (if it wasn't a relationship of convenience for immigration purposes); if all ok they will lift this conditional PR....but how they check and what's the exact procedure no one knows; anyway, it's not a law yet, u'll probably get ur visa before that

You know what you guys... I have done legal studies before, and I sort of understand how long it takes and when it comes to that supposed law we were discussing; it would only affect new applicants potentially! However, I feel like this process is making me lose all my logic!!!! I don't know if that made any sense... I'm just rambling, hope everyone is having a good day!

Cheer up guys..... yes it is very hard and unfair but we are alive and healthy!! I have friends who's spouses have passes away..... they will NEVER get the chance to see their spouse again.... we will get to see ours. The more positive vibes we send to Damascus the more positive we'll see from them being upset only makes it harder on ourselves and our spouses. And the new law that's coming doesn't change anything. it only gives them the power to deport people who have marriage of convenience. This is a GOOD thing..... it will help get rid of the frauds and eventually speed up process for us genuine people! You have to see the positives in life or what's the point in being alive
