Hi my friends,
nothing new from Damascus also today,

I just finished video call with my husband on skype,
he want to start buying the furniture for our house he think I will be there soon, but I am worried, the embassy may ask for an interview and I knew from reading some stories  in this forum they may refuse.
when we got married I did not wear a white dress because there was event of death of a relative that we love, so we did just a smal party without music.
we married a year ago and 6 month.
we are wasting best times, and many beautiful moments.

Inviting for an interview is not at all a negative point. It only depends on our Visa officer. If you read the other threads you will see that the subject of interview is more common in other visa offices too. If you believe your relationship, then you can ensure your visa officer about truth of your marriage, so do not bother yourself.
I myself did not wear the white cloth in my ceremony too. I did not have a ceremony in fact! Because we married out of our homeland and we were only two!    No guest! No Party!  

But we can do all of these in our anniversaries as soon as we join our loves!

this is crazy!sometimes i feel like just packing,when is this final decision going to come?? for visa visits,my husband tried and was refused.its all luck in life.no waiting and no process times.some people were getting it on 3months,so what can be processed in 3months doesnt need 13!

Sometimes this situation that the embassy  causes  for us  to make  argument  between the couples!

9 months i cant believe i waited that long, 9 months or 13 or more is nothing to make you weak, being with your loved one should make you more stronger and not give up, so be happy and think about your future because soon or later you going to be with your loved one so dont waste your time by being sad or depressed, im from jordan and the time difference is 9 hours ahead from canada and i think i wake up every night at 3 in the morning to talk with my wife and im doing that more than a year and a half im scared maybe ill be bat , but that going to end soon insha allah, so be strong and happy everyone and remember we all choose to wait.

Based on our chart we have 45 applicants in year 2011 till now. The average time for issuing the visas is 9 months and 10 days. At the same time we have 57 applicants for year 2010 and the average time is 9 months. In year 2011 they issued 54 visas for members of this forum, 2 for applicants from 2009, 44 for applicants from 2010 and 8 for applicants from 2011.

Lets wish 2012 brings us many many PPR.

Hi Everyone,

I just came to know about this forum. My name is Siavash and I'm from Iran.
My wife applied for me in late March 2011. My application was received on April 1st in Damuscus.
I received my client number on May 9th and since then which is around 7 months and 3 weeks ago I'm waiting for Canadian embassy to do something!

Wish u all the best of luck and hope to see u with ur beloved wives and hubbies as soon as possible

welcome dooste aziz, we all have our fingers crossed, im almost at 10 months personally, the way it looks the average is around 11-11.5 but hey syria is 100% unpredictable, good luck to you and hopefully it will be a smooth process for you,

to the rest of my dear friends my journey here is over haha ill be back in ottawa on the 5th, not too excited about returning to -27 but it makes me happy to know im almost at the end of the process and thats why i cant stay here anymore

Yeah visitor visa, from Iran...

Hi Erina,

It is allowed to apply for a tourist visa while ur file is on process but ur chances are low to get a tourist visa. Having said that, even if u get rejected it is not a big deal but personally I don't suggest u to do so because getting rejected may suspect ur visa officer and he might want to summon u for an interview.
