my wife is being abused emotionally by her father.
what can I do to bring her to Canada sooner?

Thank you sweetheart i greatly appreciate the support , my husband was living in the most dangerous city in syria and he was house bound , bombs , gun shots and such were an everyday thing and going out of the house was not a possibility , so thank god for this bulleting wich allowed people like my husband to come home to their wifes and husbands , i was constantly living in fear and ended up with a major depression ...i dont wish this upon my worst enemy , so this is WHY syrians have been preoritized Iraqi's in syria as well , and AREZOU the pressure you are under is not comparable to the danger they are living under i know how hard it is and how much u wanna be with ur husband but imagine that feeling combined with fear of loosing that loved one , in this case then yes Syrians and residents of syria are and should be the priority .

I think you could send an email to Damascus advising them of situation. Not sure if they could do anything to help but maybe. it must be hard to be far from her;( Good luck with your file:)

Hi Arezou:) You r always so cheery! I really hope we don't have to wait much longer!! everyday our kids ask where their Baba is.( they r too young to understand) I cannot wait to c their excitement when he's finally home!!!!

It will be a loooooong few days with no word from Damascus! Closed until Tuesday now. Hopefully their Christmas holiday will put them in a giving mood and we all get PPR!!

Dear Friend,
You can write them and explain the situation. Although they do not care but you can try! I can understand the situation of your wife in Iran but she has to be very patient. It is a big problem for her. In this situation our families are our only supporters. If i ware you, i spoke with her father and ask him to understand the situation. It is a hard situation!

I believe that our thoughts can have a big role in this situation. We can send our wishes to them and i am sure collected wishes can do good things for us and hopefully we will pass this situation.
I think it is double hard for you to be far from your husband and also the father of your kinds! You have to take care of 3 one! I hope your hubby will come back home very very soon!

Thx Arezou, I hope he is back home soon too! It is really hard, but I think it's harder on my husband because he has missed 13 months so far from our kids lives. Our youngest was only 1.5 years old when he left and didn't even talk yet and now talks to him on the phone. He misses them so much and of course they are going crazy waiting for him! Everyone's situation is hard in different ways. And I agree the more positive we send to Damascus , the mire positive we will see coming from them:) We are the same timeline, have you redone meds yet? Are yours close to expiring?
