Hello my Dearest Forumers

I have Great news , My husband received his visa today.  its been 7 months the file is in process, and it was completed today and he picked up the visa. we did not receive RQ or PPR request he went physically to the embassy as he is living in Syria and due to the situation his file got completed in no time.
Thank god he will be here for my birthday and new years ! i wish you all a fast process and a Visa when u least expect it just like me and my husband.

thank you all for the support for the last few months and i will always be checking up on you dont worry i wont forget you all.

I'm so happy today so I felt of sharing what my husband has received from the Canadian embassy this morning.
The status of my husband's application has always said (application received) for almost one year, couple of days ago they changed the status to (In process) I really felt very positive because I felt that there is something good coming in our way.

the strange thing that the e-mail my husband received today from the Canadian Embassy was not from the same e-mail they used to send us e-mails from  (re-damascus-im-enquiry  @  international.gc.ca), they used this e-mail (re-amman.immigration  @  international.gc.ca)
and the signature that they used to write in the end of their e-mails was not the same, they used this signature

Take new medical exam. You must visit one of our designated medical doctors to complete the medical exam.Once done please send a copy of the green medical slip (IMM1017 Medical Report-Section A) either by mail or scanned by e-mail to our office in Damascus as per the address shown below.

in the very last line they wrote:
your case has been conditionally accepted and will be finalized once the new meds have been processed.

then they wrote:
Please read the following changes to procedures for submitting documents and passports:
When a visa is issued you will be requested to send your original passport directly to the Canadian Embassy in Damascus via commercial courier. Passports cannot be submitted to our offices in Amman, Beirut , or Tehran. Do not send your original passport until you are requested to do so. at that time you will be provided with additional information on procedures.

anyway my husband renewed his medical 5 months ago, so we just sent them the tracking numbers and some proofs that we did the medical back in July, 2011 and was received and signed by Canadian embassy.

my analysis from that e-mail that Canadian embassy in Damascus saved copies of all spousal applications in Canadian embassy in Jordan, Amman in case of closure of Canadian embassy in Damascus , Syria.

Have anyone of you guys ever received an e-mail from Canadian Embassy in Jordan , Amman using this address (re-amman.immigration  @  international.gc.ca)?

thanks Alchemist 2929, I don't think that my husband's file was transfered to Amman, but I dunno why my husband received an e-mail to redo his medical from Canadian Embassy in Jordan, it was really weird . anyway enshallah ya rab your ppr very soon.

yeah i guess we should forget about the PPR thing untill the holiday is finished... i'm sick of waiting :S
i'm thinking of renewing my med's next month before they ask me too .. is it ok to do that ??!!

For the past 8 months, I have been checking continuously my email and e-cas and it is still the same "application received". Both my husband and I have emailed them but .. no reply. I always read what the guys here have to say sometimes it gives me hope and other times it absolutely depresses me further!
You know, the truth is; the feels better to talk to you! Maybe because I am Lebanese too and we have so much in common! So thanks!
