just a question, when did your husband take his med exam. I understand they are valid for 1 year from the date it was validated.... My husband is worried about when ours might expire, he did it in september 2010

medical is valid for one year starting the date that the doctor signed your green paper.

welcome wardeh . I think after the approval by CIC all the information is only sent to the SPONSOREE.. I never got any email from them my husband did. but i check his email for him because otherwise he would check  it only once a month -_- !!!

thanks for your reply, but when Damascus asked us to send the residency questionnaire they sent my husband the e-mail because he is the sponsored and they sent me a copy as a CC  so I also received their e-mail.

 when Damascus send the e-mail for the PPR is it sent to the sponsored and sponsor as well?  or the PPR e-mail is just sent to the sponsored ? please somebody who got their PPR recently reply and I would really appreciate that.

I don't think that is really weird , because my sister was sponsored by her husband and she got her visa 4 months ago, although my sister's husband is the sponsor and my sister is the sponsored but still both of them got the PPR e-mail .that's why I'm really wondering

and dear rola, they basically process the visa and print it in the passport, it might take long if there are others ahead but i doubt it will take that long

no i know that that's how they issue the visa i mean what do they do with the passport after that, do they mail it to the sponsored's mailing address or what

if i were you i will check both e-mail adressess and mail box , because in my experience they might be send to all of them or just one of them ,
they send docs request to my e-mail and mail box , i'm sponsered with my husband and then they send an e-mail for interview just to my husband e-mail.
so it could be happen so differesnt.

Thank you all for been here for each other and helping others to have safe mind, my wife will be here in canada on 13 june, she already gave her passport to the embassy and she will pick it up tomorow, they told her today that she needed to translate the passport for them to take it , so she went to the egyptien embassy ( since she have a egyptien passport) and they did it and she went back and they took it, she will go and take it from there tomrow , and I booked her a flight on sunday 12 june , so she will arrive on the 13 here

Very happy to hear this news sleen. I heard that a one way ticket is really expensive. I called once and they gave me an estimate of about 1400$.

you know maybe they don't have my right email adress?? anyway te reason I'm saying it is sent  to the sponsoree is because I watched this documentary on tv about fake marriages sponsorships in Canada . and ppl being stuck paying the sponsoree's bills etc. and anyway this Iranian guy was saying how he sponsored his wife and at one point he was calling her in Iran and she was never picking up an her mom always said she's sleeping and hung up on him. so he decided to go see her brother that lives in canada and he saw HER in front of the house with another man holding hands . so basically she got her ppr came to canada and never told him. and in the documentAry the spokesperson for immigration Canada was saying how the sponsor is nt always notified when the other gets his visa
