Hello all,
I'm happy to report that my wife is currently enjoying the beautiful weather with me in Toronto. I had my wedding party on Dec. 20, 2010 and as planned flew togther with my wife from Jordan to Canada on Dec. 27th, 2010. I won the bet!!

Salam Koumail, I think you have to send ekhraj el aid 3a2iliye the new one ( with your wife and children) not the one that you were under your dad. Also for the identity paper it's ekhraj el aid farde I don't think badon el hawiye. And as for children I guess yes you should put her under dependant children. When your wife went to the doctor they sent a part of the green paper to France the other part that the doctor signed he gave it to you it says copy 2 on it i believe, you have to send them the part he gave u which is the original but to be safe i think you should make a photocopy and keep it for yourself. The other part was already sent by the doctor to them.
The only original papers you would need to send is that doctor paper as well as the police report and army paper too.. The rest such as birth certificate , ekhraj el aid etc you can send photocopies. W happy new year w nchallah kel sene w enta w 3ayltak bi kheir. take care

Salam nagz, Regarding the medical examination, I just got the receipt when I paid not a green paper, but I don't understand the relation to France? My wife is sponsoring me! I will send both ekhraj el aid wel hawiye, ew yekhdo li betfidon;) they are the same, just in ekhraj el aid, they mention the religion. I think my file will be complete tomorrow with my new lease apartment, and I will submit it as soon as possible. all ekraj aid or hawia must be certified copies
for medical yes you will only have reciept medical need 8 weeks if you are in lebanon now since you are here could be less medical go to france and back to ottawa back to damascus with results
yes you need copies of passport , baby is under dependant,i prefer registered mail so you keep track when they recieve it
have you include pictures for you and your wife along with marriage certificates again need to be certified copies

Hi All First of all I wanted to say Happy New Year and wish you all success and hope this waiting comes to a good end very soon . and yes we are still waiting since Damascus started to process the application on Aug. 3 , 2010  CIC office in Mississauga sent me back employee letter and photos and mentioned they are not required at this stage but later on 29th Aug. Damascus asked to fill-in the Questionaire only. Congrats Abul Abed!!! Sooooooo lucky!! I am still waiting and I know I have a long way.. hopefully it will only be a few more months tho.. 2-3 months would be ok.. !I'll take that! lol I wish that was how it worked! Dear Amir-Ali ; Welcome,hopefully 2011 will be a better year and we all get our visas very soon. Wish you best of luck. Dear my friends Tomorrow Damascus will start processing officially. Hopefully they will send us the passport request very soon. My friend went to pick up his visa but they said we ran out of stamp and we will start issuing visas from 4th of January. Fingers crossed  |

When I see the table , it seems after november no one has been called for the passports ? What is going on in damascus ? I wish I was working for government  it seems they enjoy a lot at work and don't like to work. |

Exactly it seems Damascus is on holiday for 365 days of the year.The list is moving very slow. I don't know whats the problem there. Its clear for me even that 9 months is just a number, some of us already passed that 9 months and nothing still happens including myself.
