 my husband applied for me and for son in jan exactly in 18/01/2011, in 18/08/2011 i recieved email asked for Residency Questionnaire and to pay 490$, in 22/03/2012 they sent email that they need,

 - Your sponsor's bank statements showing transactions over the past 6 months.
- Pay stubs from sponsors current employment and letter of employment from employer.
- Most recent tax return filed in Canada by your sponsor.
- Copy of all the pages of your sponsors passport
- Any other evidence of your sponsor's residence in Canada and ability to support you and your child.
- You  and your child  are required to undergo new medical exams
i sent every thing and the new medical, today when i open the immigration wep site i read 
We started processing your application on May 13, 2012. what they mean it will take alot of time,
 for second time thank you very much

Dun worry Samira jan, for you the biggest part of waiting has gone, remember a day when u your timeline showed 1 month. Now 10 months more is gone, keep on for a month or so... It will be all over 
People like you shud give hope to those like me who has a long way to go...

I know the docs name in Arabic but I got the exact translated name in English by my translated copies of my personal docs  :

 : البطاقة الشخصية او هوية الاحوال المدنية
Identity card (3colored copies).

: شهادة الجنسية العراقية
Certificate of Iraqi nationality(3 colored copies).
7 personal pic
3 passport copies
also they want my husband address in Canada,my address in Iraq,my husband name.
the doctor told me I must come tomorrow to take the green sheet,I told him I am from far province in Iraq and I cant take off from my work any more so please give the green sheet to me now ,he was cooperative and he told me he do this for people from far provinces not living in Baghdad and he gave it to me.

the person who wants to do his medical examine must take with him 340 american dollar,they don't accept any other  Currencies,and he must be there at 9 am because it take time to do it.

funny story guys, my mp called me today to give me an "UPDATE" and he told me that i shouldnt expect anything until july, i listened with a smile, he was like yeah i dont want to be negative but you file arrived in ankara at the beginning of april and no OFFICER has been assigned to it,and when they do assign a officer it will be a couple of months at the least, i waited for him to finish and when he said lets set the next UPDATE day, i said how about never? he was confused, i was like my friend thanks for your help i got my ppr 2 weeks ago , thanks for nothing see you in the next election loooool

Hello everyone,
Congratulations to all those who got thier ppr. Very happy to see lots of green on the chart and I hope we will see much more.
Nothing new for us except that we got an e-mail about a month ago from Amman advising us that our "file is in the finalization stage". I have no idea what are they finalizing but I hope we'll get our ppr very soon as we have completed more than 18 months and still waiting for finalization.
May God help us and help all others waiting to be reunited with thier spouses and families.

hi Alchemist2929 may I ask?  are the sponsor? are you Canadian citizen? do you have kids ? do you live with your spouse or you are in Canada now? its so hard to stay away from your family all this time ,why your processing time took 18 months ? its weird ,for the husband sponsor may take longer time,but if you sponsor your wife,why they take all this time? did you went to Amman VO and asked them why this delay?
