I was just checking ecas and when I signed out they had a link to do a survey to help improved online services..... I think we all know how terrible the online services are so we should all take time to fill out the survey and express how useless ecas is!!

Good Morning Everyone and Happy new year to my fellow Iranians
My file is one of those which has never made it to Damascus, I've been calling CIC in the past couple of weeks to inquire about my file, Last week an agent told me that the file is in transit and still hasn't reached Ankara.
Today another agent told me that the file is still in Canada, but to minimize the delay they are working on files in Mississauga. When asked if the processing time is going to be like Damascus, he responded No, I should expect a timeline similar to Ankara.
I can't comment on credibility of answers given, as we all aware of randomness of responses from agents.

Its exciting! And ooh Alberta! I went to Calgary a few years back to visit my friend, its soo cold there, I dont know how you guys handle it! And you are right, everyday that goes by is one day closer PS, for everyone being all sad that Beirut VO hasnt shown any sign of movements (updating ecas is a sign though) and that Amman and Ankara has, its because those two countries are way more civilized then Beirut, but Beirut will start working soon, and put those two other VO's to shame, hehe, just kidding |

I think that the statement " Medical Results Have Been Received" means that your application is about to be finalized and ready for requesting passport submission "ppr"... I think that in a very few days you will hear some good news regarding your application .... wish you all the best. another thing, I received today a reply from the Canadian Embassy in Beirut ... all of that means that Beirut office starts processing the application from Damascus ... I Believe that the way of processing application will gonna be improved considerably ... Can I ask you wath they tell exactly in the e-mail.
I didnt receive an email from them, my ecase was just updated. And taking your sponsorship into consideration, your ecas was updated in November, yes, but that was when it was still in Damascus and THEN the whole closure happened, with my ecas being updated NOW, when the files have already been transfered, means they are looking at the files in the new VO, hence it may be of importance.
