May be they wouldn't do something for us in March, who knows?  the will do Samira! They have to do. This waiting can not continue forever. Surely there is an end for it! |

Salam everyone, just a few questions:
An Iraqi friend of mine just recently got a PPR and he just needs some clarification. In the letter they asked him to send his passport as well as his identity card (required for Iraqi nationals). Now, the initial identity card that was used for the application has been lost and he does have a new one in hand. His question is, should he attach a note with the package stating that this is a replaced identity card or there is no need for that as the visa issuer will know that is the case....?

Hi,
Today Ankara replied the email I sent them on Feb 21st. On that email I asked for my VO file number and they politely asked me to shut my mouth until they contact me themselves! lol....The email is a "copy paste version" that have been posted few times in this thread and doesn't give any useful information....Ankara joone madaret do something in March because losing hope is the worst thing that can happen to anyone!

Arezou joon, We r not immortal! Obviously the waiting is not going to continue forever. lol....the thing is there were so much confidence about having heard from CIC by Norouz that if nothing happens by then, it will be a bit annoying. Lets keep fingers crossed. |

I think he should send. The reason they are asking for identity is that they want to confirm it because they already have a photocopy . So there must be a reason asking. Plus there is no harm in writing a note |

Hi Siavash, I sent them an email on Feb 21st about my application as well and received the same thing as you did today. I don't know whether to take it as a positive sign or....! |

fisrt congratulation for your friend to get ppr really sorry I have no Idea about your question , I am sure sohrab919 would answer you if he see your question because he worked at that field, in my opinion,I think he should write note of missing his old identity card and issuing new one,its only opinion I am not sure. if you don't mind I have question to you too  ,is your friend got ppr from Amman VO ? or from Damascus VO ? becaue Amman VO till this moment is officially dead as we don't hear any news from it |
