Arezo! I used this adress for Ankara VO: re-ankara-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca
The right address is: "ankara-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca" It does not have "re-" in the beginning, the "re-" one is the address they reply with, when you want to email them you have to use the address without the "re-". |

Goood morning everybody, I hope everyone is doing fine. Today it is very sunny in Toronto, but feels like -11....
I just have a question for you my friends, I never recvd a file #, all I have for the past 8 months is my client ID#. My husband never recvd anything such as a file # in Lebanon, because I had requested that for any response to use only my e-mail. Is that normal not to have such a file #? Please advise and thank you.

Please advise and thank you. Hi, I don't have it either and my application was received by Damascus in May 2011, so the answer to ur question is positive. Not having the file No. is very normal. Many ppl only have the Client ID Number.....As I understood u can obtain ur File No. by contacting the VO or ur MP. |

I just recently received my file number by emailing the VO. I checked ecas with it right away when I got it and it is the exact same in as with client ID. I'm assuming for everyone it's lie that but maybe others get different info if they log on with client ID/file number. But you can try emailing your VO and if you do not recieve a reply then try the MP. but it truly isn't important to have. we even redid the medical without it and the medical made to our new VO. good luck;)

I emailed Damascus mid January to ask for our file number so that my husband could redo his meds. they did not reply so he did the meds without the file number. on Feb 9, Ankara replied to our email a mth earlier that we had sent Damascus. it was just the "due to closure...." email that lots of us got but then a few days later they sent another one and gave us the file number and confirmed the new medical results were on his file already. so we never emailed Ankara but they responded to an email we sent Damascus.

In the subject write your client ID and also your full name. In the content introduce yourself as applicant and also mention your wife 's full name as sponsor. And then ask them about your file number and your file and if you want you can also send them a scan of your medical sheet. And inform them in this issue too. |
