All those people that thier application was stuck in canada from july , have you been contacted by anybody to tell you that  a new visa office will process ur case?

yeah a short delay maybe if we get the sponsor approval till then although i expect end of March for me, beginning of March for u so maybe no delay at all

Applications currently in process in Damascus have been transferred to the new responsible visa office. All original supporting documents accompanying applications in Damascus have also been transferred. Those who have already sent documents to the Canadian Embassy in Damascus do not need to re-send them.

Only new applicants need to wait till march. Our files is already there and to be honest with u the transfer process started since December. So if we r lucky enough we will receive the visa less than 5 months from now. Dont u forget that almost all of us have completed more than 50% of the processing time in Damascus and as a result we have passed at least 2 months out of 5 months processing time of turkey.

thaaaaaaaaaaaank u Arezou nice to share the queue with u and the others i was upset for not submitting earlier but in a way, a bad thing may look initially bad and we notice the good of it much later....if we would have sent maybe in oct-nov we would have waited anyway in Missisauga, not sent anywhere (of course i always think we'll b processed at the country of citizenship, not here, i have to think like that)....gooooooooooooood luck!!

Hi,

I'm happy that they finally made ​​official the news that known for some time. This is 13.5 months that my file is in Damascus. I wish that during the month of February my wife will get ppr. I agree with you siavashf we should keep us posted about ur progress in this thread.

we must be sure that our files had  been in Damascus,
