Seriously i think if we talk to local radio stations and papers it would make a change for future applicants.

I will simply mention that this is impacting my relationship with my wife.

She is depressed and i cant let her go through this without making noise.

In some visa offices (Abu Dhabi) it takes around 2 and a half years.

When i think of the UK i go crazy. 3 weeks,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I agree, we should do something so our voice is heard.....Personally I think a petition may works better.

Btw where is everyone else? Like mr & miss bou?? I haven't seen them writing. Hopefully it's a good sign and they got it! What about wait me my love...how was the interview? I'm still trying to catch up on the reading

i don't know where they r!!!!! we kept asking abt them but nothing; me too i hope it's a good sign and they r already together
from what i remember they had a good interview, not very long, nothing out of the ordinary, basic normal questions, they didn't really ask the sponsor much, i think they actually didn't ask her anything....they should get their visa soon maybe they got it already....maybe they needed new medicals, it's hard to remember everyone...maybe they r around to confirm

Guys, can anybody tell me what things to provide in order to prove that your relationship is genuine?
Here is the list of things I have provided:

40-50 photos of us with friends and family members since three years ago.
5-6 pictures of our marriage ceremony with family members. ( we didn't have a wedding reception the ceremony took place at my grandparents' with our close relatives)
one phone bill indicating the number of calls I've made to him in 2008 when we weren't married yet.
marriage certificate translated to English
- copy of airline tickets indicating that I have been travelling back and forth to see him.
- Also we got married 16 months before we applied for sponsorship since he wasn't exempted from military services yet. so I'm not sure if they consider it an indication of our genuine relationship. 

Do you guys think I have provided enough evidence? The reason I'm asking this is if I need to provide more info I can send them now before they ask me to send them to save more time.

we also waited long time for him to be exempted from the military service; i think the fact that u waited to have a complete file might save time in the long run that was our strategy  already 16 months of marriage is good to prove the genuineness for sure continue gathering proofs but i wouldn't send them right away; wait first to get the sponsor approval, then to know where ur file will be forwarded (which visa office) and then also it takes some time until they open the file; if they need anything they will ask; if they need some updates then u could add these extra proofs for the relationship (if it really makes u more confortable)

thank you Arezou jan. It feels so good to find people with almost the same situation. I'm kinda new to this website so I have to look for December/January thread. But I will join as soon as I find it.
