Yes, I applied as QSW (Quebec Skilled Worker) in 2007 and got my CSQ (Certificate of Selection to Quebec) in mid. October 2008. Then I applied for PR in December 2008, and still didn't get anything from them till today! I think they are so slow there, maybe only the PR section? I felt the CSQ was fast btw. Anybody?...

yea I also applied for Quebec, Did my Interview in Damascus Dec. '08, Filed and in process (e-cas) on March ' 09 in the Canadian Council in Egypt, still waiting for Medical :s

hassan, to which category have you applied? Quebec Skilled Worker or Federal Skilled Worker? and if you applied to Quebec, did you get your CSQ already?

Hi tony, I've applied through FSW as per the new rules"38 list", here is my time line: NS AOR: May 11 09. Sent docs: Sep 7th 09 E case : Recieved by visa offfice. hopefully will hear some fresh good news soon |

I suggest you keep sending them emails, 1 email per month asking about the status of your application. Believe me, if you are honest with them and they find that you are really caring about your application, they will respond to you. I got my medical tests after 11 month since I submitted my PR application VISA (of course I got my CSQ before that).
