MAXIM placement room no 209 ( 1st floor) is in Malton ( Mississauga) in near WESTWOOD MALL towards KFC outlet. Run by a lady Shenaz, she has plenty of factory and storage jobs. Good thing is that she makes up to pick up and drop from the job, new immigrants need it since they have no car and even find difficult to travel. These jobs are mostly night time jobs and in night no public transit is there. Work is mostly in Mississauga / Brampton side. I feel she charges commission on a higher rate and must be talked to reduce it. I will write her phone number next time after finding. So land, next day apply for SIN card, open bank account and go to people like this, work & earn and then keep posting for regular jobs in your field. Shijoal..i had a discussion with a friend of mine who migrated to Canada some time back. here's an idea about the expenses that he gave me. hope this would help all our friends. do browse all these sites to get an idea. so we are already in the discussin... request all members to actively participate .. rent 550$, telephone # 30 ( http://shop.windmobile.ca/ProductCatalog/VoicePlans/) Internet6 $50 ( http://www.cogeco.ca/cable/on/en/residential/internet/hsi/explore_hsi.html) grocery $200 ( http://www.fortinos.ca/LCLOnline/home.jsp?_request=252572bus/transport $150 ( https://www.hamilton.ca/CityServices/Transit/FaresandConditions.htmmiscallenous exp !100... so talal expense $1000 aprox.... lets say we get a job again guesstimating to the lowest $12/hour (sure will get better within no time) lets do our maths with the minimum... if part time 5 hr per day x 5 day/week x 4 week, govt take away aprox 13% tax.. its break even --- so key point is to start small. now regarding child tax benefit.. visit CA govt offices to stargt getting this. its called service canda. check this site... http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/eng/home.shtmlchild care subsidy and child tax benefits are different. canada child tax benefit http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/eng/goc/cctb.shtmlvaccinations are free if needed. schools need to see all the paper word on this. make sure we carry everything with us. the reason why govt. asks proof of fund is they know it not easy and we will have expenses before getting steady income. |
